For those specific characters, I don't see Ashley being any more open to a threesome than she was in ME1, considering you worked for Cerberus and she's done some catching up to you, what, with being a spectre and all.

I'm actually really curios to see what is going to happen if you were faithful. Bioware said they would reward you if you stayed loyal to your ME1 romance.

If Kaidan got furious at me on horizon I wonder how he'll react when he finds out I'm with Garrus now...fist fight maybe? Not likely but still it's fun to think about cause Garrus could kick his ass!

I think my female Shepard romanced Kaiden and Thane, but Thane died on the way to the suicide mission. Would I still get a super happy fun reward for loyalty to Kaiden?

Yes, I think I'd rather experience it for the first time in the game, rather than reading all about it first on here. All I want to know about romances is who the s/s options will be, and general stuff that tells me that there WILL be ramifications for cheating, and so on. I don't need to know the details of how it'll go down.

I dont want them to spoil it either, but I also dont want to be accused of cheating when it seemed like Ashley straight up dumps your ass on Horizon. I want to know how they handle that for people who want to stay with their ME2 romances over the ME1 ones. Maybe the game will only accuse you of cheating if you did romance someone in ME2, yet try to get back with your ME1 romance.

Thats my only real worry about ME3. Bioware has made games before, they know what they are doing, so I shouldnt have to worry about much. BUT... Another worry is how Miranda will be handled, she better be a squaddy or im not gonna be happy.

Ohh... the ME LI:s will know about the ME2 ones. That's for sure =) So far all my Sheps have been faithful. Will probably play some that stray just so I can see how that affect the game. It's fun with some drama every now and then.

I just realised that the idea of a confrontation will probably bolster ME3's sales by a large percentage.

Manipulating people's egos is apparently a very good marketing technique.

What I'm curious about is how they handle single Shepards? Tali, Garrus and VS are already in party, all were LI options in ME1/ME2. Will player be able to start romances with them in ME3 if they didn't do that in the previous games? Or will it be 'you had your chance'?

Also, what if you only romanced 1 LI but start a new romance in ME3? Will there still be cheating drama?

Damn just too many variables lol

James Vega is the only confirmed new squadmember and he is male. S/S romance is confirmed (I think). Ashley is the most likely F/F option. On the flipside, there's Kaidan. Don't worry, be happy.

I'm not talking about s/s romances. I'm talking about ManShep who didn't romance Ashley in ME1 (but saved her) starting a romance with her in ME3. Or FemShep who didn't romance anyone starting romance with Garrus in ME3.

For those who are just starting, choosing options for ME1 and 2 are speculated to come with the game instead of being DLC. Makes most sense.

Isn't it technically possible though to not romance anyone without excpliclty turning them down? Don't really remember how it was, been some time since I played the games. Obviously if someone was rejected there shouldn't be an option for a romance but if there wasn't any talk about the romance in the first place, shouldn't there be?

Think of it this way, even if you only took Garrus and Wrex on missions in ME1, does it mean the rest of the team got fat on their arses sitting in the Normandy? Nah, in-canon everyone still helped you defeat Saren. It's just in your particular gameplay that you use only Garrus and Wrex.

It's part of the story that's not shown, nor told but implied. Shepard had to sleep or go th\\o the bathroom at some point...
