in my opinion Vehicle exploration was much more fun than spinning a planet around launching sticks at it Mako levels were HUGE with lots things tgo do before leaving it ome of the planets had beautiful horizons too.
I´m not saying that they should bring the flawed  Mako but an improved especially with added boost and higher jumping, would make exploration much more interesting and fun. Your thoughts?

Going to add a poll soon

Planet exploration if they have a lot of variation between them, yes for sure!
The Mako? No, unless it's upgraded to be like a Hammerhead with the same amount of "armor" and doesn't explode if hit twice.

I believe the sole purpose of the Firewalker DLC was to see how people will react to a different way of vehicle implementation, and I say it turned up reasonably good. M-44 Hammerhead is a way superior Vehicle than Mako, and I wouldnt mind having it in ME3.

Hell yes. Refine the mako's physics and controls. That's all I need. (maybe some vehicle variety) The Hammerhead can eat for all I care.

So long as the planets are actually different, then yes I'd like it. Use overlord and the driving sections from ME1's main missions as the template and it's allllll gravy.

I must admit, I'm a total sucker for pretty skyboxes though.

If we have to have a vehicle, I'd prefer a fighter of some sort, along the lines of Wing Commander, or X3 (as opposed to something land based). Nothing too involved or resource heavy of course, a few space combat missions would be awesome though.

A super Mako would be sick, if not a reg. Mako would be fine. Space combat would also be cool.

Firewalker was just a driving some pure lienear corridors while blasting Geth to hell just like the combat of ME2 is
I think they should add shields back and remove continous cannon firing  ASAP It was overpowered even Colossus could be killed in 5 seconds if you just held the trigger down held.

On another note, is there literally anybody that like the mining mechanics in ME2? Even if that was the realistic way of gathering minerals - Wouldnt such a task be more suitable for the ship computer to handle (meaning EDI), and not for the actual ship captain? If there will be a way to mine, it may sound dumbed down, but I would want the procedure automatic.

The Mako can burn in hell for all I care, but yes, I wanted planet exploration for like 1 time in the game. Would be cool to bring a different level design.

It looks like ME3 is just going to be ME2 with added mechanics.
Hope they can do this.

When did i say they should bring back the mako? the Hammerhead is good as it is . Mako should be left in its grave along with the SR1.

Mako is now the devil's personal limousine and can remain there in hell.

I want exploration back but not as it was in ME1 with countless silly missions and repeated scenarios. Same for the mining stuff, I want it back but with a upgrade.

No mako. Let it stay dead in the original game.

Plus my driving skills were awful

I did. It was meditative.

Also, there's no reason to assume it was Shepard doing the actual scanning as opposed to one of the various Cerberus personel. Or Joker. He does every other thing on the ship, so why not?

As for the original question, playing ME:2, it struck me how much I missed the Mako when on the krogan homeworld. There's those Mako looking vehicles parked around, and I was really dissapointed when I didn't get the chance to drive one.

The Hammerhead was a poor substitute.

Like is a strong word, but I found it to be rather soothing once I upgraded the scanner capacity.

OT: I'd like both of them to come back. I didn't mind the Mako as much as others, but using the firewalker would be cool too, or possibly a whole new vehicle.

Im gonna vote NO, simply for the fact that i rather have more story elements and quests. Also, it really doesnt make much sense meta-gaming wise either. "Reapers are invading, but lemme explore this uninhabited planet and mine it first"

I'd take both as long as I don't have to deal with 89 degree slopes.
