I am so tired of this cancer spreading around in our games. Blame the  developers, blame the companies, blame even the consumers but the only  culprit is the bloody "Casual player" market. Send these losers back to
their tennis lessons! Back in my day we didn't even have "CASUAL" mode. We just adapted. Oh, this game is too hard? Pull yourself by your bootstrap and get use to it!!! I am so tired of all our games
being infected by this desire to conform.

I can just imagine the meetings

Developers: Should we make the game more difficult to enrich the players experience?
Producer: But, but, but, how will casual players get into the groove.

Developers: Let's push the envelope my making the story multi-layered?
Producer: but, but, but, we need to focus on multiplayer! Everyone loves multiplayer!!!!!!!

Wankyourselves off casual players. As far as I'm concered you shouldn't be  playing any video games PERIOD. Theres the Nintendo Wii, hell, theres Monopoly. You see this game-genre. Rpg? yeah, its suppose to be
brain-numbingly hard with overly complex stories. That's what a god damn rpg means!!!!

I'm glad you're not in charge, just saying. I like arrows pointing me to missions/quests, I like tooltips.

tl;dr OP is crying into his cheerios because the world isn't as hardcore as he wants it.

Sorry, but I've been gaming for over two decades and I say, the more the merrier. Games should be for everyone, from the insanely hardcore to those who can only afford short periods of time to play.

And I'm tired of trolling threads, but I don't see them being insta-zapped. Speaking of ME3 specifically, though: they've added RPG elements back in, in case you didn't notice from the recent E3 footage and/or screenshots. Bye!

Back in my day we didn't even have RPGs. We had two sticks and a rock. And we had to share the rock. We'd use the sticks and the rock to steal the other kids' lunch money. Then we'd tie an onion to our belts, which was the style at the time, and walk down to the arcade, which we called video parlours. Then we'd have to exchange the lunch money for nickels because the games were on 5 cent plays. Back in those days, nickels had pictures of bumblebees on them. "Give me five bees for a quarter," you'd say. Anyway, where was I? Oh, right. The important thing is that we tied an onion to our belts because that was the style at the time...

And back in MY day we didn't even have sticks or a rock! Just the air we breathe, and we had to share it!

You can take that **** to your latest installment of Call of Duty. or whatever boo**** fps you guys are playing.

I love how most of you players here have NO IDEA what a real game consists of. I'm in agreement that SOME improvements work but most of them are unnecessary. Aw, you like tooltips? Instant transportation? Easy navigation? awwwww. Poor baby. I'm sorry, if you want to play an easy game pick up Hello Kitty Online.

THIS IS NOT a game you ****** your fiddle around in. why is that so hard to understand?

Clearly it is, since the mass effect games have tooltips and markers for missions with easy navigation and maps.

Boom, this. /Thread

They've listend carefully to the complaints levied against the slashing of RPG elements we witnessed in ME2, and it's been fixed for ME3. We've only seen the tip of the iceberg in terms of customization possibilities, so it's really way too early to call foul.

Not just any wolves. Dire wolves. Big ones. In a blizzard, too, but back then we called it "ice confetti".

Too long to read, what do you have DYSLEXIA?  Literally 4 sentences, I kept it short since I know how this population n is obviously I underestimated your ineptitude.

Finally. games cant be for everyone. thats like saying lets make food EVERYONE can enjoy. people have different tasts its just not possible. And these casual gamers dont even LIKE games thats why they`re CASUAL. So why our developers bending ass backwards trying to please the unpleasable? BS big time. Lets just head back to our roots, where games were made for the fans and not E for everyone.

You mean something that's enjoyable to that particular person playing it?
