First off, here's what I'm running:
Disc copy of ME2 updated to 1.02
Intel® Core i7 CPU 960 @ 3.20GHz
Physical Memory: 11.9GB
NVIDIA GeForce GTX 570 1.25GB VRAM Driver: 270.61
Sound: Speakers (SB WoW Wireless Headset) Driver:6.1.7601.17514
Microsoft Windows 7 Home Premium 64bit
DirectX 11 with 9 installed as well off the disc.
I can launch the game and get it started just fine, but after playing anywhere from a couple minutes to a half hour, the game seems to "skip" for a second, then freezes. Most of the time, when it freezes the screen changes color to solid pink, but not always. The sound will continue to play for a few seconds, then it will start to go out as well. I've been trying to watch my temps on my video card and while I'm playing they seem to be hanging around 60-65C, which shouldn't be an issue. I was able to check my diagnostic software once before it crashed and it looked like the video card shut off for a second then came back up. I then went to play Fallout: New Vegas to see if it would have issues too, and about 20 minutes into the game it closed and I got a notification that the video driver unexpectedly shut down but recovered. I did have the 2.75 drivers from the Nvidia site but saw in a previous post that 2.70 was the last stable one for old video cards (which mine is not, but figured i'd see if it helped) so reverted back to that. Not sure what to try next... if anyone has any ideas let me know! Thanks.

If its also happening in Fallout, then the problem goes deeper than just teh game, and like you said, either in the video driver, or a corruption within windows itself.
First thing I would recommend, would be to uninstall the driver, and use Driver Sweeper to then clear out all other references to video drivers that may be resident on your system.
Download and install the initial release drivers and test them out.

If it continues to happen, you may have to go for a Windows rebuild, and failing that, new video card.

The 275 family of drivers is causing some unexpected issues for a bunch of games, usually the bit older ones. I personally haven't upgraded my XP drivers past the I guess last Beta because of it. When I tried the newer bad things happened. I had the same kind of issues with color changing on my graphics and finding a better match driver fixed the issue.

For some reason the 263 drivers don't find my video card, but was able to swap to the 266 version. Still happening. Tried reseating the card but that didn't help either. I'll probably work through my vendor to what they say and possibly getting the video card swapped out. Thanks.
