Sexy voice and personality. He is better as a bro, though.

I'm a straight guy, and I gotta admit that Garrus does bring on the sex appeal a bit. I'd say it's his voice and personality.

It's the damn voice. Straight men have turned gay for that voice.

It's the combination between the voice and the flanging effect, the flanging effect makes any turian sound great, it just happens to work especially well with Brandon Keener's voice.

I remember watching gargoyles finding Keith Davids voice attractive, but thought it was fine since gargoyles were relatively humanoid, then I played Halo 2... I never completed it because I was too creeped out, plus I was pissed, you get to play as the enemy alien race but you don't get to kill any humans? f*ck that.

Anyway the point is, sexy voices can eliminate physical unatractiveness. Doesn't hurt that he's "the Punisher on steroids."

What attracts me to him is his personality, and his voice. He's not my canon Shep's LI, I always see him more as a "bro". He's like my bestest guy friend, forever by my side...Ah yeah *bro fist Garrus* Together 'til the end, buddy!

His face doesn't attract the ladies, its his manliness and machismo that make fem sheps and some male sheps go gaga.

Have you seen his curves in some light/medium armour in ME1? I mean.. dang.

Plus the voice and the attitude and the general personality and.. really, lots of other things.

Next to Tali and Liara, he is probably the most loyal companion that Shepard has, sticks by you for all three games and even if you don't romance him he's pretty reliable and undeniably badass.

And some women do find facial scars attractive.. even non-krogans ;)

I don't really think anyone actually finds him attractive in appearance; it's not like he looks too different from your average turian. It's the personality and overall character that seems to attract some women to him.

Exactly. Dem curves and dat voice...<3 I love the personality too. (For me, being completely honest here too, he also just has a certain look to him, I find him sexy. Go ahead, call me insane, but I do. I also like Saren and Nihlus...)

The relationship isn't based on physical attraction; it's built on trust. I find that idea very appealing. Garrus also has that whole lone cowboy vibe going on.

And dat voice. Posted Image

Might be that I'm misreading what you mean with that, but I wouldn't agree. Garrus' admiration for Shepard has grown first from professional appreciation and mentorship (seeing her as a Spectre that gets things done right) into friendship (she's been with him through everything, they've helped each other), and his romance dialogue obviously reflects this attitude. It's also highlighted in his recruitment missions, since you need to get through slimy macho-guys to find him. In ME1 Harkin with "hey princess, nice soldier outfit on your body" and in ME2 the merc that calls Shep a stripper. Garrus' "There's nobody that I RESPECT as much as you, Shepard" is the complete opposite of that. Not just idolizing fawning, but actual real respect. That to me is a big deal in why the Garrus romance is the best one I've seen in a video game.

And I do like the face. Those eyes, the fringe. :3 Might be an acquired taste, though. Also like everybody else ever, I love his voice too.

Straight guy here, but IMO his charm comes from voice, relaxed attitude and that he is adorably awkward when faced with romance.

Voice, height, curves, eyes, mandibles, fringe, tattoos, profession, ideals and personality. In no particular order.

Voice and personality...bad ass with a heart of gold.

Lorik Qui'in gets an honorable Turian mention too, also sexy as hell....

I believe this picture accurately shows why I find him sexy:

In all seriousness though, I think the fringe looks really hot. I mean yeah, he has an exoskeleton. But he has dat armour! And besides, we can all look past a bird/dinosaur alien and see a sexy personality.

One of my FemShep's has romanced Garrus (intending to stay with him in ME3) - I'd say I mostly went for him just because he's awesome and kick ass and at the same time kind of adorable?
He has that whole 'tough but vulnerable' thing going on, which I find endearing.
