i am very disappointed with BIOWARE's decision to allow same sex romance in ME3. It is very disconcerting considering the fact that ME is filled with Christian allusions. -1 BIOWARE.

That was their intention....>:)

I hope that bioware don't make old characters like kaidan and jacob BI, I mean through two games they've been straight so it would make no sense that they are bi in ME 3 if they have BI or gay options it would better to make James Vega such option.
They've been interested in women throuought two games, we know that for sure. But we do not know whether they are also interested in men or not.
I agree but bioware should have thought of that earlier, even if they are interested in you in ME 3 it is strange that they've not mention it before through dialogs with them and that comes out with it in the final game.

wtf???  Also, most modern Christians I know have nothing against homosexuality. It's the 21st Century, time to start acting like it. If you're going to take every word in the bible literally you'd better start thinking about what would be a good price you could fetch for your daughter to be sold off into slavery for, and stone your neighbor who planted their crops the wrong way.

All I request is that they only make new characters Bisexual. Not ones from previous games. I dont want Garrus going ****** on me like Anders in DAII.

Also, the bible doesn't teach people to hate homosexuals.

@ChristianSolider I'll pass :)

Even if they did......I'm sure they'd do a better job then what happened in DA2 (which was blown out of proportion..)....so if they did do a good job at it....you'd be okay with it.....

Right.....?...... :\\

Yes it's hate the sin not the sinner from what I can recall is it not?

And Joker totally doesn't count as an established romance character.

"Most modern Christians i know have nothing against homosexuality." Where have you been living?

I am not perfect therefore I have no right to stone my neighbor. Christians follow the teachings of Jesus. When people were about to stone the prostitute mary, Jesus told them that there were not as perfect as the prostitute therefore they dont have the right to stone her.

Think about it the as with the Tali  romance. Tali was considered for romance in ME1, but they eventually decided not to because they didn't know how would the players react to a romance with such a "weird" alien as her. But after she became popular when the game was released, they revived the idea and smartly written it in ME2. Ashely and Kaidan were considered for same-sex romance in ME1 but they dropped the idea due to time constraints. Just as they were able to write Tali romance well despite the fact the was nothing romantic with her in the first game, they could do the same with Ash & Kaidan. BW did think about it earlier, but as with many other options in the game if was not possible to implement everything at once in the first game. Their writers are good, they know how to handle this stuff :)

ME squadmates from ME1 to ME2 cannot be gay. I'll be happy that way.

Going by that logic, that also means people don't have the right to hate gays, am I right?

And how's the 21st century any different from the 20th century other than a number? It isn't. One can tolerate homosexuals without supporting Bioware's pandering efforts. It's plain foolish for Bioware to try to appeal to every demographic.

Sure, why not. As long as I can have a bromance with Garrus and not end up romancing him by accident.

That's exactly what it is. It's too bad that a lot of people tend to forget this.

Mind you, I'm not a Christian, I just grew up in a Christian home.

I think most would say "hate the sin, not the sinner."

He mentions he just wants to settle down with a plump wife in the woods while having the right to shoot lightning at fools. Not only that but he hits on Mahiri or whatever that noob Warden i at the beginning of Awakenings.

Hey BioWare, did you know that there are people out there who don't want you to "retcon" existing characters for s/s LI options? Because there are. And this is the first time they've ever expressed that notion, so BioWare, in case you weren't aware of it, here it is in this very thread. Did you also know, BioWare, that a lot of people think that being homosexual is bad mmmmkay? Because there are. This is probably the first thread where such ideas have ever been expressed as well, so this is one for a bookmark, yessiree.
