I agree with the first, I hate timed missions, especially since ME2's radar is only visible when you bring up the power/weapon wheel.
But the 2nd one already exists in a sense: it seems these mercenaries (who aren't nearly as talented as Shepard and his crew) have unlimited mechs and soldiers to throw at you. And the Collectors, for all their current collecting, seem to have quite the army already stacked up. And a few of the bosses you fight manage to re-up their shields the moment the going gets tough (Praetorians, Don Hock's gunship, that Geth Colossus). But they weren't game breakers.....
