Having to recruit the team again, I feel like the team should rally to you this time and contact you for help. Their loyalty is secure, now it is about results.

I want every mission to revolve around trying to beat the reapers or secure allies to help fight.

Another problem would be poorly chaotic space battles. Bioware should look into the homeworld series and perhaps add another layer of command to the space combat sequences. Cut scenes just dont cut it.

Victory hinging on something minor back in ME1.

Oh, you never finished scanning the keepers? Reapers win.

No failure ending. If the Reapers are such a real threat then failing to stop them should be possible.

That would be just... epic!

Having to track down Garrus, Tali and your current LI (if not one of these two)
Squad members that have been with you from the very beginning, becoming friends then close friends. I just can't believe they would abandon Shepard when he needs their support.

LOL, if that happened I'd travel to Bioware central and scan their entire office with spray paint.

I never did find one of those little buggers, and gave up after trying to track the missing bastard down 1 by 1 via a walk through.

Uninformed whining.

The one thing I worried about the most--the entire game taking place on Earth--has already been debunked. So, I'm pretty happy thus far.

Alien babies with love interest (other than liara), not being able to pick sides in galactic arguments (always have to side with quarians, forced to be pro genophage, etc)

Hmm.  "Ruin" is a strong word.  I don't think any one thing would completely ruin ME3 for me, though there are some things that would disappoint me.  I suppose the biggest thing would be ignoring all of the past choices, or making each one so important that you win or lose based on the choices in the previous two games.  That would suck.  If we made some poor decisions, let us rectify them in ME3 for a chance at victory, even if it doesn't end as well as it would have.

Beating the Reapers with purely Military Strength. What I mean by that is gathering all the races together and then the combined fleets somehow beat the Reapers to a pulp. I don't care how many ships we have, given how strong Sovereign was there should be bugger all chance of winning that way.

Spending 90% of the game recruiting allies and using the remaining 10% to figure out how to mass defeat the reaper invasion.

This. That's why I still prefer ME1 from ME2.

For me it would be poor writing/storytelling, plotholes & retcons, a cheesy way of defeating the reapers, multiplayer and/or co-op, and party members not wearing proper armour/equipment in hostile environments.

A "queen bee" "push shiny candy red button here to kill all Reapers" plot finish that pretty much made all our hard work at gathering allies to fight them seem so redundant that it was unnecessary.

Like this: http://bcove.me/j5xj5lur

Yeah so the rest of the seem kinda not needed huh? <_<

If there weren't epic space battles like the end of ME1.
