What would ruin ME3?

I hated this in ME, I had to kill Ashley just so that I wouldn't have one. Sometimes I just want to save the Galaxy and not have a fling with my crew.

In 2010 they rebooted "My Little Pony" and now the series is insanely awesome.TexasToast712 wrote...

2) They /don't/ retcon romances a bit. The logic of 'this person was romanced by men/women in the past so they're automatically totally heterosexual!' makes no sense. I usually get rather annoyed with heteronormative complaints from some, but that is just silly.
3) They don't finish the series. I don't want the Reapers to be a lingering threat. Shepard kicks their butt. The new conflict in other games can be Human:Batarian, or the rise of the Krogan, or the Beings of Light who aren't actually nice, or ... lots of stuff.

- Turning existing characters bi
- Departing completely from the original ME soundtrack

I've seen a Merrill, Isabela and Miranda based pony used as avatars lately also.bobobo878 wrote...

I find this funny because the only reason there will be s/s romances in ME3 is because Biowar is choosing to listen to the "obnoxious complainers on this forum".

Cerberus -- indoctrinated!!!
TIM -- indoctrinated!!!
Council races/leaders not helping -- indoctrinated!!!
Shepard -- indoctrinated!!!
etc..
I understand that is a major weapon of the Reapers.. but it would be very stale having to go cure/purge everyone of indoctrination.

Yes! Exactly like Tali & Garrus romances! There is WAY too much emphasis being placed on romances in this series. ME2 got dangerously close to being a dating sim. I'm worried about ME3.

I admit I do agree with this. Having to tip-toe around dialogue options to gently let everyone down was a little annoying. I didn't mind a couple romances in ME1 but ME2 imo was starting to get a little silly. Doubling that number by making everyone bi like in DA2 would be downright annoying (although I know this hasn't really been suggested).

ME2's RPG-aspects were pretty much limited to character creation and dialogue choices. I'd rather have an RPG with some shooter mechanisms than a shooter with RPG mechanisms, since every shooter has RPG-ish things in them nowadays.

Agreed. Having every LI being Bi would get silly after a while. I'm straight and not at all against the s/s romances in ME3. I think its great BW is going ahead with this for fans who want it in the game, but at the same time I don't want to find my Shepard in a romantic situation with a crew member I didn't intend to romance.
I hated having to tiptoe through the dialogues when talking to my crew members to avoid a romance. My Shepard had one in ME1 and I planned on staying loyal to it, but then talking to Samara, Kelly, Garrus, Thane, and Jacob became annoying to navigate through so I didn't end up flirting with one of them.

basically i'm tired of them alienating the core audience to try and get some of the fps fanboys who need to go back to bashing rocks on their heads because they don't have an iq high enough to understand the idiocy of doing that.

right, now for what would ruin it for me, the continuation of being more shooter then rpg,. maybe i'm one of the only ones who liked the inventory system, and the skill based shooting aspect. removing more rpg parts, it felt so constrained in mass effect 2, hell at least in mass effect one even if they didn't have a choice that was exactly what i wanted i had something close to it, in mass effect 2 there was multiple times that the answer i wanted was not on the screen and none of the choices were not even close to what i wanted

Yeah. RPG fans are WAY smarter than shooter fans. Get over yourself.
