Im just wondering here what Arias role will be in ME3. Personally i wouldn't be suprised if you can go to her to get the aid of omega added to the cause. I would love if it if u can bc that would eb pretty badass to have the scum of the worst criminals and mercs of the galaxy to kick some reaper ass.
What do u guys think?

I think it may be entirely possible that if you saved Patriarch the Paragon way (acting as his krantt) that the old man found his guts to challenge Arias rule, and retake Omega. It can be a nice sub-plot.

She seems like an obvious candidate to unite the various mercenary groups under.

I wouldn't be surprised if she has no appearance in the game. She wasn't that relevant in ME2 anyway. I considered her to be a waste of money since I can't believe Trinity's voice acting came about cheap.

Well, if there were any way to unite the mercs into a coherent fighting force, it would probably be through Omega. You'd probably need Zaeed's support to get the Blue Suns to go along (assuming that he's in charge provided that Vido is dead).

I like the idea of going through Aria to get all of Omega behind you. However, her being overthrown by patriarch would be cool as well. Although, didn't Tarak want to go after Aria or something? Meaning the mercs would not necessarily unite under her?

I don't think the merc groups would be near a match for any well-drilled, standing army like the Alliance or the Turian Hierarchy, never mind the Reapers. They're just bruisers with guns ready to kill for the highest bidder.

While this is true, it is still more bodies to throw at the Reapers. They can be our meat shields or something. They can be the like the Russians in WWII. (No offence intended, I apologize if I do offend.)

The Russians had massive numbers and a huge military machine operating within the country, most soliders were poorly equipped and trained but they also had some very well trained soliders and operators along with effective practical equipment. Look at how well their tank crews did against even advanced German tanks like the Panther and Tiger using the cost effective and reliable T-34 and the like. The merc groups aren't very well trained according to guys like Thane and their equipment likely falls short of military grade.

ARIA FOR SQUAD MATE DAMMIT.

pwetty pweeze? *puppy eyes*

I'm still trying to figure out how the most badass Asari I've met (bartender in Illium and Aria) aren't in my squad, but bland, annoying little precious Liara is.

If she is a squad mate, I'm sure her biotics are all Aria-Effect spells.

Also, if I remember correctly, the mercs had incredibly high losses of money equipment and personel in the arcangel case, the blue suns had to hire freelancers just to reach arcangel (garrus), and when you join arcangel, the casualties where big enough to send them on a little economical crisis, and lets not forget that some of the leaders from the three major mercenary companies where killed in the mission. So getting help from Omega would be really difficult, besides, most of the habitants still blame the humans for spreading the plague.

It wouldn't be too surprising if all the Mercs and pirates in the Terminus systems had heaps of ships and resources to fight the Reapers but I highly doubt they could be unified and sacrifice themselves to fight off the Reapers...on the other hand Aria has massive influence in the Terminus Systems so who knows.

Maybe she has influence with the Batarians and if you helped her in ME 2 she can help you with the Batarian situation?

Well, Aria is just too good for Shepard and the bartender, well she's most likely liara's "father" so that could brew up a dramatic ****storm

I know many have alluded to it before, but I think that its likely that Aria is the Asari whom Wrex fought (as he states via dialogue in ME1). With the other ideas that have already been mentioned she obviously has plenty of subplots available if BioWare chooses to use them. I'm not sure if she'd unite all of the merc bands on Omega so much as force them to follow her orders.

Does Omega has a fleet? Probably not, but it would be cool if you could get the aid via her from all the mercs stationed on Omega....

But wasn't she working for Cerberus in one of the books or something like that

If Aria is in the squad even if it's not permanent I'll be happy. And c'mon that voice!
