I like Tali. I hope that she, Garrus, Joker, and Dr. Chakwas are all back for the entirety of ME3.

Tali is a character, some like her, some don't. I personally like her a lot, and would rate her my third favourite LI after Ashley and Miri. All the squadmates need Shepard's help at some point. No need to bait her fans with a provocative thread such as this one.

Not to advocate these threads, but you know that was a star wars reference right? lolChrissages wrote...

I think she's just too clingy and needy! Post your opinions!
Really, I think that she has become a polarizing personality because her character "derailed" in-between games:
tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pmwiki.php/Main/CharacterDerailment
In the first game: Sweet little girl, with a lot of energy and potential, taken under the experienced Commander's wing.
In the second game: Mary sue-ish, with a unhealthy obsession with her mentor.
Derailment aside, I think she shows her true colors, with how she talks about the Flotilla. She would happily commit genocide, and never thinks of the rest of the galaxy that need help (the only non-quarian who she shows ANY sympathy for is a volus).

You pretty much nailed all the reasons why I started disliking her in ME2 after joyfully enjoying her company in ME1.Smilietime wrote...

Were this anything other than a troll thread, I'd counter this post. As it stands, I'll just say that I like Tali outside the Normandy, not so much inside it.
I'll leave the decryption process to you all.

I can see how she can be a likeable character, but I think the only reason, really, that there are so many Talimancers out there is that they just love the ego boost that comes from someone liking them from the very beginning (even if it IS a fictional character...)
P.S. I do not find Justin Bieber endearing.

Oh, and thanks for comparing my tied-for-favourite fictional character to my one of my country's greatest shames. It's much appreciated.

ME2- Obsessed, creepy-ass stalkerish girl with even less personality than a piece of wet cardboard who blatanty throws herself at your lap (thanks to bioware providing fanservice to tali fans)
What the hell d'you think? Of course she's f*cking annoying in ME2. Gimme the better ME1 Tali back and burn the fanservicey ME2 one in hell!!
But the main thing that sets me off are tali fans. Sure, we've got mature, cool, chillaxed ones that actually respect other fanbases, and I'd grab a beer with those dudes anyday, but those guys only account for roughly 5.6% of the entire tali fanbase. But the rest of them are annoying little 12 year olds who have surpassed the irritating-ness level of Justin Bieber fangirls by about 200%.
