So recently I was on the mass effect wiki and noticed 'profiles' for races I had not heard of including the raloi, kirik, 'virtual aliens,' and many extinct races,  i think that some of these species may help us survive the reapers, especially the virtual aliens, they seem to have extremely advanced technology that allows them to upload their consiousness to super computers and they also likely traded tech with the council, these are the most promising because the other races are new races to space travell or in the case of the kirik bugs wich can use biotics, or extinct.  However here is the link to the species page of the wiki, just find the races on there

The Kirik do not have numbers and their only aggressive biotic display was to ground the researcher's vehicle so they wouldn't leave.
The virtual aliens live aboard a derelict ship inside of cyber-heaven. And may have given us tech, but I doubt it is that much better than current state-of-the-art in game.
The Raloi have enough tech to spot Asari ships in orbit. And they have to wear envirosuits like the quarians.
None of these races will help.

like I said kirik and raloi are useless but i really think that the virtual aliens could be of use, if the council would allow an ai to survive in exchange for tech, the tech was likely very advanced considering how much the council hates ai's. Also think about it, for all the years that they have been in that virtual reality they were likely researching technology so there tech would be much more advanced, notice you don't see asari or turians uploading their minds to computers. I am not saying that their one ship will be of use but their tech may be our reprieve.  However about the kirik the council was considering 'uplifting' them, meaning quickly advancing them so it is possible but unlikely that they could help

I doubt it. They were in a paradise and only reached out to others once the council wanted to unplug them. I might be alone here, but I don't see how hiding in a cyber-world in a ship will save us from the reapers when they could just destroy the ship. No, you don't see turians or asari plugging their heads into a computer, but look what happened with project overlord.

My point is when they entered the simulation their tech was way more advanced considering they were able to sucessfuly do it while in overlord he david went crazy, and like I said, their tech could save us not their ship, although in the long run I don't know if it would be possible to totally defeat the reapers anyway

Yeah, but who is to say that the "people" inside the virtual reality were actual sentient beings and not VI/AI created inside the virtual world with programmed intelligences? We can do that today.

It is possible that their technology could help, but doubtful because it was a CDN and not everybody reads those and when they show up in ME3 it will be all "Plot Holes!!!" "WTF" and setch.

I know why they have introduced these races, it is very clear in my mind.

They made Avian aliens, so that we can get attacked by husks from the air. (both the un-seen ones, and the "harvesters" AKA klicksen droppers)

They made the Yagh to give the reapers super-intilligent and powerful allies (once beaten by Reapers, they wouldn't even need to be indoctrinated to serve them!)
:o

The Virtual Aliens are VERY LIKLEY to be intergal to the plot, just like the BEINGS OF LIGHT (that some Volus is excavating... with mercenaries). Either of these could be a "red herring" AKA just like the maltese falcon, though.

But then again, Asari jusks sound like they are going to make us puke, but hanar husks still = awesome!

Maybe the VI aliens could upload INTO the reapers and destroy them.
