What could possibly be going on with the Geth? Choosing whether to destroy the Heretics or reprogram them was a very ambivalent choice. Some people are saying that the reprogrammed Geth actually side with Sovereign. Will this eliminate the option for the Geth to join your fleet, or will you have to do another mission similar to Legion: A House Divided to reprogram them again? It would only be fair then for players who destroyed the Heretics to have to deal with fighting them around the galaxy. Thoughts?

we will see it on ME 3. there is the possibility that Quarians will declare the war against Geth again if you destroyed heretics. I think that reprogramming will save tons of people.

Based on the Legion conversations, the orthodox Geth seem to want to form that overmind (or whatever you wish to call it) which will boost their collective intellect into the stratosphere. I saw that screenshot of Legion and a hologram of some sort of spherical object, so maybe they did manage it, heh. Even though I reprogrammed the heretics, I suspect it's potentially more dangerous than destroying them. If you destroy them, then hypothetically, the orthodox Geth would remain uncorrupted. Regardless of which path we choose, I think the main thing we'll be dealing with is settling the issue of the Quarian homeworld and putting an end to the Quarian-Geth conflict.
