Well I'm from Melbourne and I havn't heard anyone pronounce it (die-nasty) unless they have watched to much American television.
Am from Adelaide (living in Perth right now), kept Crow Eater accent, have always pronounced it die-nasty....nothing to do with television, I have never watched much.

Meh. Depends on who you talk to. Melbourne's a melting pot of a place. Go to Frankston, then pop over to Springvale on the way to Malvern. Less than 50km end to end but it's bloody different in all of those areas.

Really, How do the west Aussies pronounce it? Only if one is around to ask.
Just asked hubby, he says die-nasty...which I'm a little surprised at, as otherwise there usually quite a bit a difference.

*grabs crotch* Polish this!
Damn.....
On the din-asty/die-nasty side of things, I actually use both pronunciations, depending on who i'm speaking to. English/Scottish/Irish mates I use din, aussies i use die.

Now, if only Vault Boy had a mullet and a beer belly, it would be perfect.

Edit: No I didnt spend hours trawling the interwebz for that, I actually have had it bookmarked for about a year.
Sammy fans (female) would swoon how he has overcome his blue collar upbringing to become a successful actor in hollywood. His old mates in rockingham would just call him a stuck up ponce these days.
