Do you think it will remain the same style as it was in ME 2?

Btw, I was just thinking would it be bad if a sci-fi game used more modern styles of music?

Given that there has been a change in musical producer for ME3, it will be along a similar vein, but different.
Define modern. Don't forget that classical was once perceived to be modern music.

Mansell isn't just going to throw every theme away. He'll listen and try to expand on what Wall established.

Modern as in more electronic sound instead of orchestra. Right now ME uses more orchestra, and just some beeps on the side. The exeption was club music in Omega, but that music was a bit different too, more like early electronic music.

Hard to say which way Clint Mansell is going to go with it, aside from the fairly elementary prediction that it will be profoundly more emotional than either of the earlier soundtracks. I do find it interesting that he has said creating a soundtrack for a game is more like being a DJ than a composer, although I think this relates more to how you string different elements together in a dynamic gameplay environment than it does stylistic genres.

Lol, ME3 needs some Gears of Wars- style ridiculousness!

For example, a scene with this playing on the background as Shepard and his/her team walk towards the camera is a must! xD

We also need more ridiculous lines.

Shepard after getting shot in the chest: "It's just a flesh wound."
Garrus in romance: "I can calibrate you all night long, baby."
Shepard in the final showdown to the reaper boss: "It looks like the hunted... have become the hunters."

And also, Shepard needs sunglasses and C.S.I Miami- style lines.

P.S
I'm really obsessing over Kill Bill today xD

Well I don't want ME to be funny. It is suposed to be serious. ;)
And btw the song that you linked is again not that much electronic, thus doesn't suit sci-fi a lot, but that's my opinion.
