I'm curious about what the Reapers' strategy is to be honest. There's been talk that a Reaper appears on Tuchunka, but it's almost seemingly like the Reapers may use all their forces on earth. If this is true then Harbinger's obsession with Shepard and humans could be their downfall. If they have spread their forces out over the galaxy then it's going to make things interesting. I don't see brute force beating them - as Anderson says - "How do you stop something so powerful.."

I think we overestimate the Reapers. With the technological advances made from Sovereign's remains, ship mounted weapons are far more powerful than they were at the Battle of the Citadel. Just compare the fight with the Collector ship with upgraded/un-upgraded weapons. If you multiply the Geth and Citadel race ships by 10 and put them on the same side, that's the kind of fleet you could expect to be going up the Reapers. Add in the Rachni and Krogan, and it seems like a relatively even match.

I hope we dont defeat them.
I can see us trying to rally as many forces together as possible and find a way to attack and beat them without getting beaten decisively, but i dont want the game to finish with us having beaten the reapers.
I can see an ending in that we now have the means to beat them and have taken out a good few, but the reapers and their ground troops are still out there. Cue new ME games.

The shockwave from exploding stars would be too slow to catch a reaper.
Throwing relays at them would work once but probably only once.
I believe that the method to defeating them has already been foreshadowed. Personally, I think it has something to do with countering the indoctrination field, which I believe maintains cohesion within a Reaper among the nation of programs that compose it.

Have Kelly give them scale-itch. They are made of organic material.

Cerberus has been working on building a replica of the Death Star with a super-sized model of the Thanix Cannon. Shepard steals it and proceeds to joyride throughout the galaxy killing Reapers and random planets.
