I didn't say I wouldn't buy it at all. I didn't say I'm using my other two games as coasters or skeet practice. It's really not as "sad" as you are making it out to be.

Uhum, ... what.?
Your astonishment astonishes me, because that reaction was the only logical outcome.
Also, if you have issue, legitemately or not so, simply telling us you cancelled a preorder does accomplish nothing. Zip, nada, nichts, 何も.
Addendum:
That Deserrt Eagle video is fake.

I'm quite happy with my pre-order, and I don't give a crap about what BioWare did in the past.

But it has only been one week since the game got available for pre-order. So you read something, decided to pre-order it and in these 7 days you already decided to cancel it? :-D lol, really dont understand on what basis did you preorder it in the first place :-P
Actually, I had mine pre-order since March. Remember the game was scheduled to be out in December, then they said November, then they said TBD. As to why I pro-ordered it in the first place, it was before I played the arrival dlc. After I played it , I said "They did the same thing that they did to the DA dlc." That set of the warning bells in my head that ME might have taken a lackluster turn in developement. I've been thinking about it for the last couple of weeks whether to cancel or not.
But we'll see how it is.

I think I'll wait until I have more dirty laundry before I decide whether to do it or not...
That is all.
Thank you.

My mistake then, I thought it wasnt avalible for pre-order before official anouncement of the release date and CE. And at least arrival had new locations, all the DLCs for DAO had reused locations... I guess they were testing how will people react to DA2 :-D But lets not get into this.
While I understand your concerns I personally liked ME2 better then the first one in a lot of aspects and based on what I have seen so far I definately wont cancel my preordered CE. Also it is very soon for topics like this, you still have 9 months to preorder again. :-)

Erm no they never gave an official date, the only official date was "Winter 2011" then it was changed to "First Quarter 2012" and finally confirmed as 6th March 2012. At the end of the day if you have decided to cancel your pre-order then that is fair enough. What I do not understand is why you felt the need to come here and tell us ? I am not cancelling my pre-order should I make a topic to tell people that ?
I would also say that making a decision based on the DLC is a pretty silly thing to do. The last DLC for ME 1 was pinnacle station which by all accounts was pretty crappy yet ME 2 turned out to be a fantastic gaming experience. Just because Arrival had a few short comings (and I agree even though I did for the most part enjoy Arrival) it is no real indicator as to the quality of ME 3. However the fact you came here to make a topic telling people you cancelled your pre-order pretty much says to me you aren't open to discussion about the issue anyway.

For the same reason that I cancelled my DAII preorder. The DLC that was just put out recently for ME was garbage. Too short with nothing substantial to add. Just like all of the DA DLC was last year. Your only as good as your last product you put out, and the Arrival DLC was useless as Witch Hunt was for Dragon Age.
I'll take this as a warning sign that the first Mass Effect game to be made completely under EA's wing may be a huge disappointment come it's release next spring and will reserve the right to purchase it after I heard of it's reviews by critics and users.
That is all.
Thank you.
So you'd rather have others tell you what to think then make up your own mind? That's sad. Also what's the point of you posting this? I mean rather then getting some attention. Who give a **** about you or your preorder cancelling ass?

Listen....You come on this forum stating you canceedl your pre odrer because you don't get enough extra stuff for pre ordering, forget that when BW added more stuff to anytype of pre order....People complain and whine. On to of everything, you don't need it to enjoy your game anyway. Then you say ME2 will be bad because DA2 was bad....which was made by a different team, and then it will be bad because of Arrival, which problem is that it's more action then story, never mid if it just a bridge story to ME3.....Jerrybnsn wrote...

Woe is you who can't understand that everyone is acting negative becauseyou don't like the dlc and now cancel your preorder for it.
Woe is you who wants people to understand that your minior grip..
...Woe is you for not understand we don't care and you should keep it to yourself...

My sentiments exactly. Why is that some folks on here feel the need to come here and tell crap like that? Why do we need to know? How exactly are our lives impacted by such a "monumental" decision?
Ugh...
