I have played NWN 2 and MOTB before and I really enjoyed them however having bought the products when they were just out, suffice to say the MP content development was in its infancy.
I havent played the most recent expansion is it storm of the Zephir? Despite its pros and cons I believe it has random encounters which I see as potential for some really diverse MP
How is the multiplayer side of the content progressing in general? I have spent 3 years at uni(Just completed 3rd year) so I have been too busy to contribute much.
I just persuaded a good friend on steam to purchase the platinum NWN 2 , like myself he generally steers clear of RPGs (Any avid gamers will no the reasons concerning RPGs in general these days without me putting anything that can be seen as flame bate
)Anyways I actually enjoyed NWN 2 and the guy I persuaded to buy it will be on the forums very soon and the plan is we are going to coop through the original campaign then Mask of the Betrayer then final storm of Zephir (The one I have yet to play) How cool is that? What a way to spend ones time off is all I can say! Happy days!
My friend wants to go an archer type so hes trying out a ranger, personally I have always loved the pure caster types and if possible I need some brutally honest opinions on whether tank/ranger or other non caster types are as much fun? Its just I persuaded the guy to buy the game to a point so I want him to see the best of the game. Any input on this would be greatly appreciated as I dont have experience in the classes my friend likes.
