Alliance, naturally. Cerberus are a bunch of losers who obviously hate their own species given how many humans they have tortured and killed over the years. How anyone can side with their organization just because the Lazarus Cell were decent people and helped Shepard get the job done is beyond me.

Martin f*cking Sheen!

That's why!

Martin Sheen did an excellent job of making me HATE the Illusive Man.  I not understand the love for Cerberus.  If anyone played the LotSB and talked to Liara on the Normandy and picked the lower right answer(which is the renegade response) to respond to Liara's question on how Shepard is doing.  Shepard says, "I'm tired of Cerberus, I'm tired of the Council ignoring me, and I'm tired of my best friend not believing me."  *flings arms in the air*

Edit:Even my renegade Shepard gave intel about Cerberus to the Alliance.  No way in Hades would any of my Shepards trust Cerberus.  Out of 15+ games I only saved the collector base twice and one of those playthroughs everyone died, so no importing that file.  And I only did that to see what happens if I do.  From the looks of it, giving Cerberus the base is going to be a very bad thing.

I just kept the intel for myself. Just because I like Cerberus doesn't mean I'm stupid. I thought it would make an excellent barganing chip if cerberus decided to stab me in the back, and left me the option to give it to the alliance later if that turned out to be the best choice.

The Alliance is just a selfish government. No reason to be unwaveringly loyal to something like that.

Hackett and Anderson are in charge, so I'll stay loyal. I just hope that there's an Alliance fleet at all to fight the Reapers. Hopefully the Arcturus fleet is still around.

The Alliance pulled my Shepard out of the slums and Reds. He's loyal, even after this trial.

It depends on what happens in ME3, to be honest.

In general, though, I'd rather deal with a legitimate and democratic organisation like the Systems Alliance than an autocratic terrorist organisation with dubious morals.

That being said, we've only seen the military side of the Alliance, not the political leadership. For all we know the Alliance Prime Minister is a saint.

This. Exactly.

Alliance loyalist here. "Kinder, gentler Cerberus" did not sway me! I remember cleaning up their messes throughout ME 1. I serve the Alliance and the Council!

But that doesn't mean I'm gonna take any more of their dithering either. Night has fallen. The monsters are at the door. Grab a weapon or get outta my way! Let me do my job!

More loyal to The Alliance than Cerberus but what I like about Cerberus, is that it doesn't have the whole political crap
But I don't need a badge, just a gun

Anyone here still faithful in the Alliance?  I lost my faith in them in ME2.

I only have respect for Anderson, Hackett, and Ahern (Pinnacle Station). On a side note, I hope Ahern shows up in ME3. Gets out of the simulator business to kick some Reaper ass.

Not really, although I'd take them over Cerberus.

I'm loyal to the Council.

The Council comes first. When Shep became a spectre he stopped putting humanity first. In his eyes all races should be judged as equal. Obviously, he still has ties to the allience, and humanity is important to him, but spectre duties come first. If he had the choice of sacrifcing humanity to save the rest of the galaxy, hed have to take it.

...No, wait, wrong series. Yes, I am a human loyalist and I will support the Alliance any way I can. Had Cerberus not decided to go crazy even after I saved the Collector base I would supported them as well.

Everything after ME1 has not made much sense to me, Shep became a Spectre and his/her loyalty should lie with the galactic community as a whole. I always thought the whole point of remaining with the alliance in ME1 was out of convenience since Shep already had a ship and crew ready to go rather then having to start gathering these things from scratch when there was an important mission that needed to be done. Now it seems Shep was always suppose to be answering to both the alliance the council and following the rules of the Spectre's which seems very counterproductive.

I'm a Spectre.. but I'm loyal to my humanity. Too bad Cerberus and the Alliance alone aren't worth a damn. If they became one again and kept each other in check humanity would be much stronger.

When the reapers show up it is time to put petty grudges aside.

Yes and no. I'll work with them, I obviously have connections with them, and I trust them a hell of a lot more than I trust Cerberus. That said, at the end of the day Shepard gets *far* more done outside of Alliance loyalty than he does within it. One of the best things the council could have ever done was make Shepard a Spectre, specifically so he could do just that.

I should also point out that I consider Anderson and Hackett as personal friends rather than high ranking Alliance officials. I'm *much* more likely to help them than I am some random guy in the Alliance.

With Hackett and Anderson being leading figures for the Alliance (thank god Udina is always such an ass you'd have to be stupid to make him councilor) in military and politics, I'll stick with the Alliance. Humanity would be on the right track, being a Council race n' stuff. It would be foolish to throw all that away by, say, sticking to Cerberus. Not to mention Cerberus apparently tries to kill you in ME3, so that's out of the question anyway.

Pro-Alliance right here.

Besides, BioWare made everyone(Alliance/Council) stupid so that Cerberus was the only option. They could have done a better job than just "backsliding" on the Reaper threat.

I hate Cerberus, Alliance is a better option in my mind.

Well Cerberus is completely filled with incompetent idiots, in the Alliance there are only a few incompetent idiots so I'll stick with the Alliance.

The Alliance can suck it for all I care. But since the other option is Cerberus, I guess I'll go with the Alliance.

My Shepard is Alliance through and through, that being said he is a Spectre who understands that the Reaper Threat and Galactic Stability is more important than the Human Agenda and is willing to put the needs of other races above those of humans. Cerberus is a terrorist organization that is a threat to peace and Shepard will stop them.
