My Shepard is Alliance through and through, that being said he is a Spectre who understands that the Reaper Threat and Galactic Stability is more important than the Human Agenda and is willing to put the needs of other races above those of humans. Cerberus is a terrorist organization that is a threat to peace and Shepard will stop them.

Amen, brother. :police:

Alliance loyalist here. "Kinder, gentler Cerberus" did not sway me! I remember cleaning up their messes throughout ME 1. I serve the Alliance and the Council!

But that doesn't mean I'm gonna take any more of their dithering either. Night has fallen. The monsters are at the door. Grab a weapon or get outta my way! Let me do my job!

You even cleaned up a few  of Cerberus' messes in ME2.  Overload and Firewalker come to mind.  Let alone getting the intel off the dead Cerberus that was captured from Eclipse.

My spacer Shep was loyal to the Alliance all her life but her name being dragged through the dirt for political expediency ripped away the rose tinted glasses.

Work with them? Certainly. The public face of Cerberus is the more palatable version and would be less offensive to future allies but work for them? Nope.

She's seen how they treat their dead, now more than ever she's a Spectre. The bar is set low for the council. Let her retain Spectre status and don't be a hindrance, that's all they have to do. It's a relationship of mutual convenience. ME2 style spectre-hood not ME1 for my Shep.

Humans join the Turians, Salarians and Asari on the sidelines and let Shep do her thing.

I'm Alliance, my Shepard hated having to work with the Cerbies. The Alliance isn't perfect but no organisation is. Abandoning them isn't the solution to change things even when they swept Shepard aside, work from the inside. XD

Main Shep is loyal Alliance and was okay with TIM and Cerberus up until Horizon/Collector Ship. Alternate Shep is a Spacer, he bleeds Alliance colors.

I personally never had a problem with the Alliance. If I really had to think about it, my Shepard would still be loyal to the Alliance, even with all that has happened.

I think the playthrough I'm about to start will be loyal to the Alliance. Escaping the mean streets of Tampa for a better life in the military. Became ruthless due to his time he spent on the streets. One deadly ass vanguard!

I would consider my Shep to be a loyalist, but then the Alliance Fleet gets its ass kicked defending Earth. Brave souls all, but it is hard to remain loyal to an orbital debris field.

My policy is to not be loyal to the Alliance or to any one faction/race, but to individuals.

For instance: Admiral Hackett and Admiral Anderson, awesome guys and competent soldiers, who have stood up for, defended, and believed in Shepard. They have been his mentors and he feels great respect and loyalty towards them.

Ambassador Udina and the a**holes who wanted to drag Shepard in for "questioning" can suck it.

I would have been loyal in all three games, if I had been given the choice. I'll try again this time, we'll see how we're railroaded. I'm not ruling out some big "Cerberus is out to get you, but so is the Systems Alliance" situation.

If Hackett and TIM both go insane at the end and I have to fight both no matter which side I choose, I'm throwing my keyboard across the room.

I'm loyal to the Alliance, but am wary of the fact that there are high ranking members that support Cerberus.

I would have followed TIM into hell.

But I want to send Anderson there myself.

I will save humanity, but after what the Alliance did to me and my name, no they can go jump,

right into the arms of their alien lovers on the council, while they leave colonies to die. hump

Yeah I'm still an 'Alliance loyalist' but I'm not big enough with the Alliance that I would sacrifice the Council and the Ascension dreadnought just to save Alliance forces.

Of my ten Sheps five (including my Main Shep) are loyal to the Alliance, three are freelancers and two are loyal to Cerberus.
