This already happened in Mass Effect 2. I sincerely hope having Legion chat with Tali as well what amount to the leaders of the Quarian People will have some effect in Mass Effect 3. Also, remember that Legion represents all true Geth. I wouldn't be surprised if you play your cards right to see the Quarian Flotilla get attacked by a Reaper then Suddenly hundreds of Geth ships warp in and swarm attack the Reaper.

Random Quarian: OMG! WHAT ARE THE GETH DOING HERE?
Legion: *putting on a black monocle* Backup.

Oh and guest appearance by Bender from Futurama please! Call him an experimental platform.

Legion on the flotilla should have been the "canon"/default option for ME2. It was much more interesting than the other characters and held the potential for even more.

I pick save editing.

I'd rather have neither of them decide to be incredibly inconvenient and attack each other while I'm fighting the Reapers.

This little idea I have revolves around the geth/quarian conflict.

Instead of giving the player a choice that would patch up things quickly between the two species, Shepard has to help the Quarians destroy the geth or help the geth destroy the Quarians. The war between the two sides is already under way, so no negotiations are possible.

Tali and Legion are on the Normandy. Each hopes that Shepard will help their side, and are basically hostile against one another.

For example, Shepard can help the geth, but this elicits a hostile response from Tali. She points her gun at Shepard, threatening him/her, and declare Shepard's aid to the geth an act of genocide against her people. Unwilling to see this happen, she attempts to kill Shepard in her rage. Shepard and Legion fire back, killing the young Quarian machinist.

The only option I could see is destroying the geth and even then only if you turned legion over to Cerberus. The quarians are going to walk away from this regardless; with geth allies, geth slave army or no geth at all.

Tali pulling a gun on me in MY ship... Uhhhh, what would that accomplish except her death? Tali isn't a moron. And why would Legion want to kill all the Quarians? And why would HE attack me if I said no to him? I mean I hope they let me do some stuff with the whole Quarian/Geth war plot, but that just sounds like a lazy Sophie's choice situation manufactured to illicit an artificial emotional moment.

Well I stopped the quarians from attacking the geth during Tali's loyalty, I resolved Legion and Tali's argument, and they both survived the suicide mission. Hell, I even had a romance with Tali, and one of Legion's famous quotes is "Organics fear us. We wish to understand, not incite". The geth are a reasonable race, and Tali holds a lot of clout with the quarians. If I do one thing right in Mass Effect 3, I'll make the geth and the quarians work together. I think if I convince the geth to give back the quarian homeworld, I'll be fine.

I mean, Legion or Tali. No way in hell I'd be able to call that one.

That would be completely out of character for Tali. Don't count on it.

Legion, no questions asked at all. The only reason I let tali live anyway was for the achievement. And the Quarians bug me for no apparent reason, anyway. Whereas the geth....are just amazing.

I want a pet geth. Someone make me one! 8D

I like both, so I wouldn't kill either one of them.

Should kill the idiots that are forcing me to make such idiotic and pointless choices instead.

Um, I kinda like the idea of not being able to reconcile the two species and I sympathize with the Geth far more than with the Quarians, but Tali is pretty much my favorite squadmember, so I couldn't choose.

Also, I'm sure we'll get an option that is a peaceful solution. Something like the Geth returning the Quarian homeworld (they don't need it) and going to live somewhere else and being allowed to join Citadel space in return. I doubt that they'll live together peacefully in the same systems though, there's just too much distrust.

This is likely better discussed in Mass Effect 3 Character and Romance Discussion topics rather than necroing a 4-month old topic here. The discussions there is not limited to romance.
