Can't spend every waking moment being serious. You gotta have some downtime, even if the fate of the galaxy rests in your hands.

Shepard did have  music in his/her cabin on the Normandy.   Shepard and LI could spend some downtime dancing there and it wouldn't be that out of place if done right.
