Man, where do I start?
I was the same before ME2 launch. But to no avail. i just hope they did make a point how much did they spoil before the game hit the shelves. Thanes "I am dying" and lot more that slipped in various "teasers". That was bad. Really.
Lets hope BW will refrain from showing unique/key locations, NPCs, parts of major/main quest lines and the like.
I really like exploring and finding thingas for myself. And I rarely look for game guides or walkthroughs.

Thus I approve of this thread.

They spoiled ALOT, first the Spider Reaper battle, the Atlas Mech,Mordin,
Now even the WHOLE earth level everyone was so hyped i think they should stop there.-

And this is 10 months(!) before release. I'm afraid we'll be seeing many more spoilers in the coming months. Wouldn't be surprised if this so called 'I am your father' sized plot twist is leaked before launch. (Naturally the person to leak and spread this should be SEVERELY punished)

I enjoy coming to these forums but not if every time I scroll around I have to worry about reading spoilers. Don't mind gameplay or mechanic spoilers, BW should cool it on the plot spoilers though, imo we've heard enough of the plot to last until march 2012.

ME2 launch trailer, I still cannot believe they did it.
Bioware have serious porblems with teasing without spoilering. I'm almost sure that at moment of release 9 of 10 plotwists will be spoiled. And still I'm here *sigh*, goddamn forum addiction.

I wish I could resist, but I'll probably end up spoiling ME3 for myself :(

I know its a pretty major macguffin for ME2 but even the act of Shepard dying in the first five minutes would have been a brilliant shock. That and Thanes dying were completely screwed. The general press for Thane was good, you got the idea that he was a pretty bad ass assassin, then he muttered the words "I'm Dying" in a trailer! Wouldn't the player not knowing that Thane was on borrowed time not have a much more resounding impact on their treatment of the character?

So far Casey has been pretty good at keeping things spoiler free but I wonder how much longer his lips are going to be sealed? We already know that the meat of the game is going to be set on various species homeworlds, how are Bioware going to feed the press and keep their PR spoiler lite?

Stick with gameplay spoilers and announce the name of 1 party member every 1 - 2 months? Long wait in between but I'm sure most ME fans won't need plot spoilers to convince them to buy the game anyway.

Hmmm.... how come you are in the ME3 forum if you don't want ME3 spoilers?

I like knowing new things before a game. When DA2 came out I was in the DA2-forum pretty much every day in order to scout out new things. When I felt that I knew enough I went back to the DA:O forum.... worked for me anyway =)

have fun on the forum.

For as many people who don't want to be spoiled there are 3 times as many that do. In a democratic society in which we live, majority rules.

Using simple common sense, I'd imagine a Bioware ME3 discussion forum would be the worst choice of a forum to visit for avoiding spoilers. Perhaps one of the other 5,000,000 gaming forums would be a more appropriate choice? It's like crawling into the freezer and complaining its cold.

I'm more interested in HOW things play out rather than the actual final outcome. I never care about spoilers. It's still just as exciting to me to see how that plays out and comes to be even without the "surprise" factor of it.

So couldn't care less, personally. They could spoil the entire game and I'd still play it with just as much enthusiasm. Living it and hearing about it are two very different things.

This is pretty much how I feel. I usually don't care about knowing spoilers because I haven't yet seen them play out with my eyes. Sure some of the surprise is gone, but for me it's entirely different to read a spoiler vs watching the scene actually happen. Basically as long as the endings aren't spoiled til I complete it, I'm game. I don't mind having things like locations spoiled because all that serves is to make me more excited knowinf that I'll finally get to see certain planets (Thessia... ).
