I hope Bioware was paying attention at E3 and not just worried about what they were doing/showing...the "gunsmith" feature for GR:FW looked awesome! Since we are not getting the game until next March, I hope that they can find the time to add a feature like this for the weapon modding in ME 3.
I just checked out a youtube video of that. And you're right, that was pretty impressive use of Kinect.

I will admit I was awed by the demo for Fable: The Journey and Star Wars for Kinect. But even those games are barely enough to make me wanna get the Kinect, they arent pushing the true potential of this Motion Control thing. The Motion controls can be more than a gimmick like it is for Wii mostly. Mass Effect 3 optional use of the Kinect can make the Kinect used for actual games than gimmicky ones. The real reason why the Kinect and most motion control devices stay gimmicky is because developers dont push the device like they do with games like Mass Effect 3.
But at this point Mass Effect 3 use of the Kinect is gimmicky and they can make it for use of mic just as easily. So Bioware there is a mic device, using the Kinect for that use is not using the device properly

Voice recognition is around for a while now. They might as well bring it out for PC and PS3 with headsets too.
But I guess they have an exklusive contract with Microsoft. Well....at least they cash in some more money for the Budget

They don't want to bother writing the software for PC and PS3. Because of Kinect, it's already been done for XBox 360.Captain Iglo wrote...
