Just look at Ashleys new character design, they have completly made her to a standard sex object.
but why bother ? many here are to unmature to see the difference between a feminist and a militia feminist.

Marissa Miller (the model) is 100% natural. She doesn't eat Doritos and donuts, works out, and had a little luck on the genetic side. That's why she looks like that. I see girls in college with the same proportions or with bigger (natural) butts and breasts and well-shaped bodies.
Unless your saying working out and healthy living is not natural, in that case I wouldn't know what to say.

There is far too much emphasis on how a woman presents herself in the world today.
There's no way to avoid the reaction to that though.

Oh shut up. your line was a indirect insult to Socrates, Plato, Aristotle and many of my favorite characters and thinkers. How about you continue your carrier without giving opinion about opinions.Schneidend wrote...

Jacob's toplessness, Thane's cleavage, and Garrus's ass shots really irk me.
Nah, Jacob's fitness means nothing to me. Shepard himself could be a lineman in the NFL. Even old and scared Zaeed looks like he'd come out victorious against most 20 something boxers. At some point you have to realize that movies, games, comics, just genre in general tend to have idolized body types.

My Ethics Prof (who happens to be a Feminist Ethics Proffessor) once said that she thought the majority of angry 'Feminists' out there don't have any idea what Feminism is actually about, so all they know how to do is spout extremist left-wing views.Schneidend wrote...

I'd understand the problem if those women (Jack,Miranda and Samara) were just sex objects, but they are strong, independent, successful women with interesting backstories. They just happen to look good, and they are not afraid to show it,maybe even use it in their favour. I fail to see what's so wrong with that.
absolutely nothing. people just **** and moan to feel important.

"According to the codex, some species – the Salarians, Krogans, and Turians – have males and females – we just don’t ever see the females. For the Salarians, a complex “social code” revolving around reproduction means that very few females are produced and are all kept on the home world for breeding purposes. And for the Krogans, it’s even worse; because of the genophage, female Krogan are kept on the homeworld and any that have proven fertility are fought over as prizes of war. So two of the most prominent races essentially have their women being sexual/reproductive slaves. That’s just… great. Really progressive of you, BioWare."
Why do I have a feeling she hasnt played mass effect at all?
Yeah, I know. I got the feeling that female salarians controlled much of salarian society. Likewise the Female Krogan leader had as much if not more power than Wrex does.
I think it's a case of bringing your bias into something.
Also the rachni might only have sentient females...haven't seen otherwise yet.

The true ME fanbase is not some organization of perverts. Many are very, very story driven. And if the game adds the realism of life with a little eye candy now and then, then Bioware IS emulating and simulating Real life. Everything and everyone isn't perfect in life but every now and again we see something that appeals to us as individuals in real life do we not?
The true bioware fan is made up of many different types of individuals. Some of her points were things I as a "true fan" agree with. Some I didn't.

Is this the same blogger who accused the creator of "Firefly" of being a rapist?
Don't know for sure, don't think so.
Different names, different sites and different style of writing. Also different points. This person liked some of the things about ME including the fact that their female characters are not weak. The firefly bloger had nothing good to say about anything.

This. The Salarian leaders are generally female, and they hold power in the medieval-type of Salarian society.
And Wrex in ME2 said that he can't do nothing without the approval of the female Urdnot clan leader.

I'm not sure hive mind insects count when feminists are keeping score on how "progressive" a game is.

I just lol'd... she stopped being immersed inside the game when she saw Benezia because I think she was jealous. So what, she wanted all NPC to be small breasted ? Because it's not true IRL... it would not be immersive
.
I was knocked out of my trance when I saw benezia, but that was because I thought she looked like the ****ty-haloween costume version of evil queen from Sleeping Beauty which looked stupid next to everything else. I think she just got the same thing but she automaticallyput a feminist spin on it.
Yeh, that is a good comparison.

As for Jack being sexualized... She was looking for something that isn't there. Jack is a psychoic rebel, a loose canon. The tattoos are all about anti-sexuality. She may be vulnerable, but it is in a deeply broken sense. I would be seriously worried if she ever voiced an attachment to my Shepard. You would never know if a poorly chosen word would put your Shepard through the bulkhead.
