I want to run my main Shepard through ME1 on Insanity as I've not done that yet and I still need to get the level 60 achievement.
I reckon I'll wait until I take at least one of my Shepards through ME3 to get the kinks out and then I'll take my favourte Shep through all three games.

As of today my male paragon is ready for ME3 import and I have just started playing through ME2 with my female renegade. I plan on doing the male renegade playthrough sometime before the summer is over and the female paragon in the weeks leading up to ME3's release as it is the one I will use first in 3.
The female paragon will be a reproduction of the file I used for my first ME1 and 2 playthoughs. I'm mostly just running through again because I barely did any sidemissions in either game before and I want all those choice to be available for ME3.

My main reason for re-doing ME1 and ME2 is to experience parts of the game I didn't get to experience, get a few more achievements and just to refresh my memory of the game ahead of the next one. I think re-doing the previous games to set up different scenarios is not going to be so necessary.

I got so over-excited by the weapon/skill customization screens from E3 that I started another ME1 playthrough. Not sure yet how this one's going to play out though; currently she's a pretty vanilla earthborn/ruthless renegon, still on the Citadel for the first time.
Just started facial reconstruction on mine.. Probably going to do the earthborn one, because it seems to be FotM at the moment. Don't know if I'll be paragon or renegade or paragade.

Last playthrough of ME1 ever. I think I'd rather put my head in the oven than play ME1 yet again.
ME2, I've already played maybe a couple of times more than I played ME1, but it's still good fun. And picture this: I have yet to play a female or a renegade in ME2.

As much as I love ME1, I'm finding it a bit of a chore to play through it again, but I shall stick to the goal & work through for a complete lead up to ME3.
I've started this early out as I'm sure I'll loose a couple months when Skyrim is released.

I always redo my 'canon' in the weeks before release, just to keep everything fresh in my mind and make it feel more like a continuation.
I did my official run with my canon shortly after arrival came out. Won't mess with my canon again until my first ME 3 run.

Hmm don't quite understand that but then again I usualy alternate between males and females. My canon is male but overall don't really have a preference.

Plus, refresh our memories before ME3 is published.

I, too, will be taking a week leave for the release of ME3. Though I imagine that entire week will be filled with doing absolutely everything possible in the game. If I finish it inside that week, I'll import the next character.

I think when ME 2 first came out it took me about 3 maybe 4 days to finish it. I remember starting the suicide mission at about 7 in the morning after I had been playing all night.

A week? I'd like to enjoy ME3 by not rushing through it. Think I'll take the entire month off
