Yes, Yes, and Yes

It was always my intent to do a full play through of ME1, ME2 and all DLC for each class once the release date for ME3 was announced. Currently I'm just finishing off my first of these play through as an Infiltrator

Next up I will probably go Sentinel as its the only class to date I haven't played as so I'll get that out of the way next. Each Sheppard will be customized with a unique personality for role-playing reasons.

I see it as a great opportunity to sample all aspects of the game (for example I've never played using a shotgun as my primary weapon, but my Vanguard play through will address this), cover off all options in a story sense, and it'll give me a solid base for all my various ME3 play throughs

Nope finally got my perfect playthrough in january (couldn't talk to jack anymore because DLC made her romanceable before miranda so that sucks ). I also don't want to erase DLC like arrival and then reinstall it because I don't want to do it until I beat the game (could just not do it but I feel that if shepard got word of it he'd do it immediately not wait until the SM is over).

I started doing a ME1 play-through yesterday actually. But, the controls are just so primitive compared to ME2. I don't know if I'll finish. I'm fine with my initial ME1/ME2 play through, I just miss the series.

No,  i have two playthrough saved and thats enough.

I have made much more playthrough to unlock all ME2 achievements. But kept only this two, one where i romanced Liara (ME1) and one where i romanced Ashley (ME1). On one of them i destroyed the collectors base, on the other i saved the collectors base.

Thats enough to see the story impact.

At the moment I'm working on a full completion Renegade female Shep Soldier with a Garrus romance, imported at level 60 from ME1. About 70 percent done in ME2. Colonist/Ruthless.

My main is a female Paragade Infiltrator, no romance ( she's too busy saving the galaxy to play rumpy pumpy with people dangit!). About 70-30 Para-Ren. Again, brought over level 60. Already finished this one and ready for ME3. Spacer/Sole Survivor.

I also just started a Kaiden-mance in prep for ME3 with a pure Paragon Engineer plus sniper. Spacer/War Hero.

And I have a male Shepard playthrough at just finishing Feros. Renegon Vanguard. Earthborn/Sole Survivor. Not planning a romance for this one either.

I think I'm okay with ME1's combat once I get past the tedium of Eden Prime and the Citadel.

ok yall I updated this post, im currently playing through ME1 again with my lvl 60 soldier, so the update for this thread is something I wanted to know before I finish the game and play through ME2

I am. My main Shepard is finished. I did all that before Arrival came out. But I recently went through ME1 as a renegade, I forgot how stupid playing that way was. Now I just have to finish ME2 with her, but as for side quests they can wait until ME3 is nearly out.

I plan to do 3 more. Pure renegade, some other playthrough to romance ashley for the first time, then a redo on my main shep.

yea I agree, I never liked playing as a renegade, never understood why anyone did, it seems to me
that when you play as a renegade shep that you get penelized for it or something

Picked up ME1 and ME2 for xbox on the cheap. Started a 'canon' xbox run just recently. So when I eventually get ME3 for xbox on the cheap - I can (hopefully, I'm in Australia you see, and no-one cares about us, not even enough to give us kinect voice support) use kinect features.

I've got my carry over on PC - no need to go through that again - its perfect

I've decided to create a new main. So I'm going to play through ME1 a few times to get everyone equipped with the best armor and do all side missions and DLC (This is a Paragon mind you). Then comes ME2, similar deal.

I much prefer Paragon but some of the Renegade stuff is quite fun. The first time Shepard hit that deranged scientist in the face following a renegade dialogue option I nearly fell off my chair. I wasn't expecting that at all 

Some of the Renegade decisions just leave a bad taste in my mouth but I figured I needed to do it just to see what the consequences are down the road.

It's all about seeing as much of the game as possible at the end of the day...

Yeah, I've been running a few Sheps through the whole shebang with minor alterations. Most importantly, though, I've been changing their names; I'm a bit scared of what might happen to a Shep that's had her (or his) name changed in Gibbed in ME2.

I only have one finished ME1 save that a carried over to ME2, which is my femshep Mina. Soldier, very paragon, lost her LI in Virmire (but that was so I could hook up with Garrus in ME2 guilt-free), just about everything I wanted.

Still, going to play again through ME1 and ME2 as a male ranagon infiltrator who will romance Tali. Not sure I'll play a third time, maybe after a while passes and I get the hankering for some epic sci-fi.
