I feel that it wouldn't take more than a minor step from Bioware to make
a huge leap in how complete the Sentinel feels as a class, so I really
hope the community jumps on board with me here and the devs take notice.

It seems to me the main appeal of the Sentinel is that it's the only
class that combines Biotics and Tech, right? Biotics AND Tech, yet when
it comes down to gameplay, it's always Biotics OR Tech. I'm simply
proposing that Bioware make the Sentinels' class-exclusive power a
combination of both types of powers, rather than have it fall entirely
under the category of one or the other like the rest of their abilities.

Take Tech Armor for example: ridiculously awesome whether you play
caster or assault, but every time I used that solely-Tech class power I
couldn't help but feel it would have been better-suited to the Engineer
(and tacking GSB onto my Engineer for an insanity run only made me wish
Engineers had Tech Armor instead even more). And tbh, even though it'd
amount to not much more than an aesthetic change and therefore may seem
superficial, wouldn't that power have felt more right for the Sentinel
if it were simply a BIOTIC barrier that was TECH-rigged to explode?
Something as simple as that would make that power feel like something
only a Sentinel could do.

I mean look at the other hybrid classes: Charge felt like the perfect
combination of Biotics and Combat because you smashed into the enemy
with the former to set up the latter in the form of a shotgun facelift.
Tactical Cloak? Same thing: you used Tech to sneak up on an unsuspecting
foe and drastically boost the damage of the ensuing free Combat.
Sentinels just didn't feel like they had that sweet, sweet combination
of their hybrid abilities.

So I'm not sure how far along development is, and whether or not the
powers are set in stone yet, but combining the Setinel's Biotic and Tech
expertise in one power would just be awesome. I can't be the only one
who thinks so, right? And even if it's too late and you wonderful devs
have decided to just give Sentinels their own Biotic exclusive power to
go along with their Tech exclusive armor power from the last game and you're
still keeping their powers seperate, can you please, please, please, please,
at the very least incorporate both Biotics and Tech into their heavy
melée attack animation?

tl;dr: Bioware, plz help make Sentinels feel less schizo and more
complete by giving them a class-exclusive power that combines both Biotics and Tech into one awesome power (and do the same for their heavy melée attack animation). Thnx!:D

Thanks for the proposal. We have a new power for the Sentinel that I think will really take the class up a notch, while keeping all the stuff about the Sentinel that people love intact. I can't go into details on what that is, but I'm in the "small iteration" phase of power development at this phase, which means the overall style of the power is set and now we're just tweaking small rules and numbers here and there to end up with something fun and balanced.

Sadly I cannot tell you if it will fulfill your expectations or not, but I will say that I think Sentinel players in general will really dig the new power and how it integrates with the rest of the Sentinel gameplay.

We will be revealing more on our powers over time, but today is not that time. You will probably know more about it before March 6th comes, don't worry.
