Co-op for ME trilogy is a dumb idea.

Every time someone suggests it, its always the same story: "Id love to bring my friend along." But nobody even considers the flip side of that: how fun it would be for your friend. Yeah, having them along for combat is great, but for the rest of the game, theyd be bored out of their minds. How fun is it to be a spectator in an RPG? where you can not make any decisions nor dialogue choices? Exactly.

Save co-op and MP for the ME spin-offs. Theres plenty of fun to be had in the ME universe that doesnt involve Shepard's story.

Hey guys I just wanted to throw an idea out and see if other people like it, what if in Mass Effect 3 they had a Co op mode where your friend could join in, and to make it cooler you could take out one of your companions so that your friend is in the cutscenes. I was talking to a few people with the idea and just wanted to see what a majority of people thought.Posted Image

Why can't the host play as shep while your "Buddy" plays as one of the party members?

I wouldn't mind that kind of drop-in/drop-out co-op play. I could be in the middle of a fight, my buddy walks in the room, picks up a controller and starts playing as Garrus to snipe a couple guys and help me out. That could be kinda fun, and he couldn't ruin my story choices. Heck, I'd rather have them add multiplayer than more Kinect features.

Don't waste resources specifically designed for a single-player experience.

Meaning,.......take the MP/CO-OP and kill it in a fire!@!!!!!!

I do like the idea where your buddy can jump in as a companion, and I really want to thank the people who support the idea

No, multi player or co-op is not something that would benefit ME3. For future games MAYBE but not this one.

I think OP is just a troll, 'cause this subject was discussed a lot already and we've got confirmation from devs no go to co op and here comes this thread.

Sorry, but as cool as you might think the option would be, Mass Effect 1,2 and 3 are single player games.
If you'd like to discuss the coolness possibilities of a co-op game in the ME Universe, feel free to open a new thread.
