If the Reapers have invaded Earth, then that means battling many husks.
What if one of those husks was the corpse of Richard Jenkins?
That would be awesome.
Idea: Resurrect Jenkins from the dead.

So... we would be fighting a huskified dust, eh?
On a more serious note, I am all for a husk of a NPC that Shepard has had some relationship with.

Why make a husk out of 3 year old corpse?

But husks are all the same, they have lost their own face. I can't see how we would be able to recognize him.

Jenkins died on Eden Prime. Pretty sure Shepard already wiped the Heretics off that planet before he could be Huskified.
VS was incinerated by a nuke.... so that theory that has been floating around is gone too.
With the exception of Greyson (who wasn't really husked he was implanted with reaper tech) Husks are mindless... just drones. You need an indoctrinated general like Saren in order to do any real damage besides swarm an enemy.

It would be the only one that screams "THAT WAS AWESOME!" when you launch it with Biotic pull or throw.Bolboreta wrote...

Isn't resurrecting someone from the dead a little redundant?

Resurrecting someone from the dead?
After a few years?
What a terrible idea.

That imdb page is wrong, Jenkins was voiced by Josh DeanACWolfe wrote...
It's funny you mention Jenkins. Whilst trying to find out who voices Vega, I noticed the VA for Jenkins (over at IMDB.com) is supposedly coming back for ME3 to voice someone named Maxwell Jones. No clue who Jones is, but here's a link. How curious.

So when Shepard said, "We'll make sure he receives a proper burial.", Shepard was just talking crap?

Sure as long as
- The squad member killed on Virmire is resurrected by Cerberus as an assassin
- Nihlus is resurrected by the Council (or was just pretending to be shot in the head)
- You encounter Cerberus Kaidan, husk Jenkins, and Nihlus 2.0 at the same moment of the game. Everybody gives each other a "WTF" look, then starts shooting at each other.
Yep, no plot holes in this one at all.

It would be utterly pointless and make no sense at all.
It would also be completely hilarious. I endorse this fully!

I guess it's possible. Even if you decided to have him buried later, there's nothing saying the Geth couldn't have just grabbed the body shortly after you left and turned it into a husk. Nihlus too, I guess.
I don't see why he's so important that I'd be any more able to distinguish him from anyone else, though.
Kaiden, however, is stretching it. I'm not sure how you go about making a Husk from evaporated cinders, cause he was SITTING on the nuke when it exploded.
