Seriously Bioware? This is the best you could do? Are you even trying anymore?

Since you obviously have a sneak peak into the entire ME 3 storyline and are qualified to comment on it, feel free to share it with the rest of the class.

We've heard this kind of whining already (mainly from bitter pro-cerberus renegades), is this the best whining you can do?  Are you even trying to put effort into your whines anymore?

Let the guy complain cause Bioware need a pretty big ****ing bridge to get over this crater. It is like a Reaper has crashed landed into a planet and exploded. How will they explain this is a long shot of makebelief bull****.

It's been done for gameplay purposes- we get commandos to fight instead of simply fighting husks all the time.

Even if you hate Cerberus this is still pretty ****ing lame, its like Bioware no longer cares about writing convincing enemies or making believable conflicts any more, instead of using their imagination and creating an enemy that makes sense they took the DA2 approach and said "**** it, instead of offering unique and fun content between point a and b lets just throw a ****ton of spiders in their way and call it a day".

The reapers are attacking. People are going to get indoctrinated. How is this difficult to understand? Also, enemy variety is more important than whether or not you feel like fighting Cerberus.

You should definitely continue to freak out prematurely before you hear any in-game story explanation for this at all.

Maybe in Gears of War, but not in Gears of--I mean Mass Effect.

I don't like Cerberus, so it doesn't bother me.

However, I don't wanna be fighting Husks all of the time so Cerberus it is. It also makes sense to indoctrinate them. They're one of the biggest threats to the Reapers' plans. Also, since they are a "small" organization and not a country, it'll work.

So, if somebody shows up and starts shooting Shepard in the face, you should have the option to ignore them?

Again, the reapers are attacking, and thus people are going to get indoctrinated. Old friends become new enemies, etc.

Don't just sit there and assume BioWare will fix everything, has EVERYONE already forgotten DA2?  Think about how the story would explain it.

Did the Reapers indoctrinate one of the galaxy's most powerful and influential people without anybody even suspecting it?  Furthermore, was said person completely incapable of fighting off the indoctrination even though Saren (a mere Spectre, compared to TIM) was able to beat Sovereign's indoctrination?  Also, why wasn't this even hinted at in ME2?  Is it because this actually wasn't part of the story until they realized ME3 was going to be boring as hell without any twists?  Finally, are BioWare comitting the crime of using a story to tell gameplay?

Think of it like this: You'll be doing the galaxy a favor by destroying them.

Sorry, I must have glanced over the part where Dragon Age and Mass Effect merged into a single plotline. Or combined their developer teams. Or have anything to do with each other at all.

It probably wasn't hinted at because it's something that happens in ME3. Seriously, wait until you actually know the story before you start criticizing it.

Different design team, different development time table, different everything, so stop bringing DA 2 into an ME 3 discussion.   DA 2 has NOTHING  to do with ME 3.  Besides while it has it's flaws DA 2 isn't the terrible game people make it out to be.  I actualy like it.

Saren didn't beat indoctrination whatsoever. He was very much indoctrinated. Sovereign just used a more subtle touch on Saren to keep the Spectre as capable as possible.

What's more, Saren was indoctrinated while the Council remained entirely clueless. Saren is an extremely influential person himself, considered a hero by many prior to the revelation of his treachery in ME1. TIM is also somewhat of an enigma. Nobody outside of Cerberus knows he's the leader of Cerberus. He likely has several identities he uses for attending social functions and sleeping with galactic celebrities.

Stories change over time. They may not have even thought of having TIM get indoctrinated until ME2 had already shipped, if indeed he has even been indoctrinated at all.

The tears of whiny pro-cerberus people, who have yet to see why they allied with the reapers feeds me! Cry some moar please.

Saren didn't beat his indoctrination; I beat Saren's Indoctrination. By convincing him to shoot himself in the face.

The only logical conclusion to this event is that SHEPARD IS A REAPER OH NO.

Different team, ME team has been working on a planned trilogy. Cerberus was never your friend, you were always just using one another to accomplish your respective goals.

Did the Reapers indoctrinate one of the galaxy's most powerful and influential people without anybody even suspecting it?

Cerberus had access to Reaper tech post ME 2 as described in the books. They implanted that tech into a human being who knew enough about Cerberus and it's operations that the Illusive man feared that information getting out. So since the Reapers knew all that before they arrived, it wouldn't be hard for them to track Cerberus down using the agents they had in the galaxy. Afterall, some people got away in arrival and they were indoctrnated. Through them and with the former operatives knowledge, Cerberus could be easily corrupted.
