I'm hoping for a final trailer near launch time that showcases the story more, like how ME2's launch trailer was. I'd love for the trailer to be mostly cinematics, like the ME2 launch trailer. That one was excellent.

I think the actual gameplay videos make up for it though. I also really liked that they used live action bits, they might not have been everyones cup of tea but I thought it was great.
Edit: It seems rather widely accepted that the music was a bit of a miss, which is surprising given how the music was one of ME2's trailers greatest strengths.

Cool line but that is just retarded when huge ass robots are eating up earth. Disappointed with shepard. Is that what a commando will really say? No strategy whatsoever. retarded.

It was a perfectly good trailer. It did what it was supposed to do - getting me hyped for the game.
EDIT - My face when:

This. What does everyone expected to get from a trailer made of a game that it's not fully developed yet anyway?

Would prefer youtube expressions vids/Images it you think that would be worth your time, as alternatives. (Just no too disturbing images, i don't think anyone wants that so)
Mine:

Also, "We fight or we die, that's the plan" gave me goosebumps. Badass.

It kind of depends on when and where he says it. If it is during the Reaper invasion of earth it seems about right. I mean what kind of plan do you want him to come up with in a unwinable situation moments after an attack began? We fight or we die is probably the best plan you can have since it is a bit more diplomatic than saying, "Hey Jackass I'm on foot and 2km space monsters are attacking us, why don't we table the discussion until we are relatively safe" In situations like that, you don't need a plan for everyone to hear, what people need to hear is get off your ass and start fighting. Now if this is said to the council like after he escapes earth then it is a bit weak but still understandable in the motivate you to do something rable rousing way.

I don't think there is anything wrong with expressing a degree of disappointment should a poster feel it. There is always room for improvement afterall. Personally I liked it, I just didn't think it was as sexy as ME2's E3 trailer. Gods I love that trailer.

Nope. You're definitely not the only one. I liked it too.theelementslayer wrote...
Am I the only one that liked the line, we fight or we die? Because that just shows how desperate the team really is to try to save the galaxy. I loved that line.
I totally got goosebumps when I saw the trailer. I'm so psyched! Can't wait for March!

Yeah, it was a really bad trailer, but it wasn't for us, it was there to please the share holders, and so they can save it for later in order to appeal to the "Call of Duty market". You know, for people who haven't gotten into the trilogy yet?
Anyone who's played 1&2 is going to be watching all the interviews and previews, and Bioware know that. Surely.
Except David Silverman. Sorry to say, but that guy seems to have no idea about what the fanbase want to hear, nor does he give a toss seemingly. The DA2 marketing campaign proved that.
"Awesome - button connection!" "No one cares about detailed environments!"

I wish they made it more artistic like Tomb Raider's trailer or better yet Assassin's Creed: Revelations' trailer which was truly amazing.
