Hey,

I have already ordered the ME3 Digital Deluxe from Origins (got my ME 1 and 2 (was free) from them 2). Should I get the physical copy of collector's edition instead? I live in Singapore and I don't think many stores will carry the collector's edition and I want to play it the first day is released (so no amazon)...

but it's the same price as the collector's edition! but everything I get is digial (even the lithographs)... so should I switch?

I believe it's better to switch, even with the possibility of not getting it, to the actual one because:
1.- The litograph is real and you can hang it.
2.- The soundtrack will be in a CD, which is good enough due to it's high sound quality.
3.- You can show the case and everything to your friends so they die of envy :P
4.- The artbook says it by itself.
5.- Look at the box cover! I'm gonna buy it just for that :D

But that's my opinion, no need to take too seriously. If you can't get it, I'd leave as last resort getting a digital one.

Personally I'd go for the box version. But I have a question on this: I live in Brazil and I don't think any retailers around here are going to sell the box CE around here. Does anybody know of a way to get it? I wouldn't mind importing it, I just don't know how...

But you can read the reviews and cancel your order if it turns out to suck balls. Or at least, downgrade to the cheaper normal version.

I would pick it up retail. Most of the goods are material. It would kind of suck to pay the full price for a few PDF files.

Game.co.uk is curtrently the only place in the UK offering a pre order for the collectors edition but i hope amazon also gets it as i hate the way Game are stealing all the special editions and making them web exclusives(well apart from crap like cod and fifa).

If you can get it day 1 locally, I always suggest physical box copy. There's just something enjoyable about having all the goodies and media in your hands versus having to download it w/o any material stuff to enjoy on the side. Personal opinion of course :)

No. Digital purchases can't be cancelled. Look here:

Look under the question: How do I request a refund?
It clearly says EA doesn't refund digital orders. So be happy with what you have ordered and don't order any other ME3 edition, unless you want to waste money.

I'm going with the physical. I have ME1 digital, ME2 physical. I figure if EA is going to charge console prices for the PC version, I should get my money's worth and like everyone else who has commented, I would rather have the physical lithograph.

I have preordered the normal version on amazon. If EA makes the bad move of not putting ME3 on steam, then my I will keep my preorder. If it does appear on steam, I will cancel my amazon preorder. I was not happy when they pulled Crysis 2 off steam. They think they can compete with steam? I don't think so!

I would go with the physical copy if you really like the game... The physical goodies are more tangible than digital copies and can be displayed whereas the digital stuff cannot... Even if you can't play it right away the physical copy of the items is better in the long run imho. I preordered my CE edition via amazon so even if its a day or so late I'll be ok knowing that I'll be able to have a physical book to flip through and a actual lithograph I can hang; those are much more persistent than just playing the game as soon as its released.

As I understood from the description, the collectors edition comes with a *digital soundtrack*. Most likely it'll be like DA2 where the soundtrack can be obtained through your DLC page here at BSN.

That only applies to products that have been downloaded, Since I doubt at this time that EA even has a full game for people to download and the TC has only ordered the product. He can cancel his Digital order without any problems.

Doubt its going to be on Steam, now that Origin is up and running, pre-orderd my Collectors Edition with 1 day shipping, going to skip college classes that day and turn phone off until it arrives

This is a real quandary. Normally I only buy the digital download versions, because I hate dealing with physical - easily damaged - disks. But the Collector's Edition cover is going to have FemShep on it, and I want to support that.

Guess it will depend on how my money is looking closer to release.
