So, I installed the PRC a while back, and I've been playing as a Tiefling Duskblade.  Besides a bug at the start that left me unable to complete the prelude(I had to do it with another character so I could just start from chapter 1 with my duskblade), I've come across only one other bug: I get no loot from Boss chests.  Now, I have a theory as to why, no idea if it's correct, maybe you all can tell me if I am or not. In the past, I've noticed Boss chests tend to give class related loot(if you're a monk, you get gloves with some type of elemental damage on them, if you're a fighter, you get cool weapons or armor, etc etc).  Since Duskblade is a class only offered through the PRC, I'm thinking perhaps the game doesn't recognize it is as actually being a class in general and thus no loot whatsoever is offered.  The other treasure chests still give their random minor loot, a few pieces of gold here, a spell scroll there, wine, ale, the usual, but Boss chests are ALWAYS empty.

So, beyond confirming my suspicion, can anyone tell me if I start a regular class(a cleric) through the PRC Character Creator(I still want access to the new domains/spells/feats), will the Boss Chests give me loot?  I just can't go through the game getting no loot(mainly because it's almost impossible to earn money other-wise), so I"ll be dis-continuing my Duskblade.  I don't want ot start another character from scratch(I kept playing my duskblade through the first half of act 1 before calling it quits) only to get no loot from Boss chests again. If the PRC stops that from happening, I'll just get rid of it. Thanks all!

thanks, I'll post it over there as well then . On the plus side, it's not affecting my cleric(which obviously means I was right, i was getting gypped out of loot on my duskblade. To a much larger degree then I had originally thought. I've already gotten more loot on my cleric in half an hour of playing then I did the entire time I played on my duskblade(half of act 1).

This issue should be fixed in 3.4 - is this the version you're using?

(have you installed ocfix in all OC modules?)
