After recently installing Windows 7 (along with Service Pack 1), whenever I try to play Dragon Age or Mass Effect the game will not recognize my keyboard correctly.
It only happens during gameplay itself (so I can sign in to EA Online) however, and it only affects the letter keys. So if I try pressing the W key to move forward, nothing registers. Then, if I try to change the key bindings in options then it assigns the action to a number key (regardless of what I actually press).
I've looked on a bunch of different forums and whenever I do actually come across someone with a similar problem they either don't have an answer or they said the problem just fixed itself. Anyone here that's had a similar problem to this that could help me, please?

I am willing to bet you have Comcast Constant Guard on your computer...if so get rid of the piece of junk. It is interference between keylogging and the games.

Holy crap, I never would have thought of that! I did what you said and now it works perfectly.
Thank you so much!

Just installed Comcast Constant Guard and noticed the same thing for DA O, DA II and Oblivion. My keys would do something, but they were mapped all wrong. i.e. I would press W and my Marubi war hound would appear.
