I can't seem to find such a document from searches. I am wondering if there is such a guide to how to, what is needed, and cost for hosting a PW for NWN1?

Thank you Funky. I love your server btw... PoA rocks! You know how it is though, you get hooked on something, and it is hard to let go...
P.S. I have looked over those boards, and nothing seems to give me the info I am looking for. Seems odd there is a guide to everything else NWN related, but none on how to host a PW?

There is almost an infinite number of things comprised in "hosting a PW". Can you be a bit more specific?
Are you wondering about server specifications for your rig?
Are you wondering about re-directing ports so you can HOST the server?
Are you wondering about systems needed for a server to sustain itself?
Your initial question is too vague for anyone to help as it is.

Well basically I am wondering:
1) How to host a server from my computer (temporarially)?
2) How to set up a real PW (permanent, hosted from an actual server)?
I have found a ton of different info on some of this, but I was hoping there might be some consolidated guide to self hosting (with a pc), and setting up an actual PW (using either an inhouse [home] server, or renting space on one.)
