Please for the love of God, tell me that stupid red veins covering up the screen will be gone.

I cannot describe how much I absolutely hate seeing this.

Well, if you took the time to watch any of the live demos you could find the answer to this.

Currently (this may change later in development for all we know) the screen does blur and go red around the edges. There were no veins though.

It seems to be blood spots and a bit of fog kind of thing now. I had not problem at all with the red veins. It didn't happen that often and was a very good tip that you are about to croak so duck!

ME2 just had red fog on the edges, which is not bad at all compared to COD. I think it is kind of a good idea for ME3 to have something similar to get the message across that you are about to get killed...down with health bars!!

ME2 was just as bad as COD:

The time I spent looking for one on google was enough, regardless the point still stands. Jelly/veins on my face are terrible.

Yeah because EVERY game doing this is totally fun.
Besides me getting shot isn't the problem, it's the red *#@! covering up the screen when i do.

sadly enough one of the devs said during ME2's pre launch madness that "the developers were pretty happy with the red veins" and they had no plan on changing them...

I don't find it all that annoying or bad. But it is funny you used a COD picture instead of a ME2 picture.

Do you want a return to health meters? I find they can be really unpredicable as the amount of damage an enemy does varies so much. At least with the screen going red you know you only have a hit or two left before you die. To each their own.

It's a dig at Bioware for wanting to incroprate COD players in  ME3, which is exactly why I don't want to see more call of duty jelly on a ME game.

Yeah, but that still doesn't mean you should use other games picture, you take picture from correct game, because other ways you can misslead with presentation. I mean you point stands, but you presentation can be missleading, because while they are similar, they aren't same.
