From what I've heard, and please do keep in mind that I haven't had time to keep up to date with all the latest info, it would seem that personal customization is seeing a return. This has brought me a great deal of joy. I for one am very pleased with all the customization I can get. The more the better. No detail is too small, no weapon accessory too superfluous.

That being said I would like to see a lot more customization as well, if that wasn't already clear. A few ideas will follow below.

- New facial customization options.
- Far greater armor functionality options.
- Weapon custimization. (I know it's been mentioned already. ^_^)
- The ability to choose what weapons you have equiped.

That last one... well personally I don't like the heavy weapons. I'm just not a heavy ordanance kind of guy. Or more so I should say, I'm not the kind of guy who enjoys not being able to control what my character carries. If I don't want something, I should be able to get rid of it. I personally wouldn't mind seeing a limit one how many weapons you can carry. Because honestly watching my soldier run seems so terribly tiring.

Anyway if you read all of that and still didn't get it, this is a thread for discussion about the new customization options. And it's a bit of a wish list. Obviously every topic pertaining to the matter at hand should be discussed. Enjoy. ^_^

Really... no one else wishes to discuss taking customization a step further? I mean I wanted to make this so it could be a mass topic about customization. But if it still doesn't fly I'll create specific topics for each feature. Not to be a menace, but for more controlled and streamlined ideas.

I can say one thing about it. The more the better. I just love having a flexible game where I can play exactly the way I want.

I don't care. I'm happy with the level of customisation in 1 and 2. I just want the hair to look nice. Just because it's the future doesn't mean everyone has to have a hair helmet glued in place with wet-look gel.

I would like greater control over squad customization, also would like to have at least some ship customization that isn't just functional weapon and armour upgrades.

One question, how is customization further into the frontier?

It was supposed to be the tag line for the tone of the post. Basically taking customization, which has been great, even further. Because I don't know about anyone else but I like to recreate myself in games... and for Mass Effect 1&2 it's been impossible.

So pushing the options even further is how it's further into the frontier

I think it would be pretty cool to be able to customize the Normandy. Give the ol' gal a custom paint job at least or something.

ME3, the Final Frontier :D

Sorry couldn't resist, I just believe that with what happened with the work on ME2, that the work on ME3 will come back with a vengeance and surpass many expectations.

I will try to locate where I read what I'm referring to, so I can share here.

Edit: Yes! I found the article link!

Here's the link: The Making of Mass Effect 2

H1N1 was and is a serious concern, and Bioware was able to deliver ME2 on time.
(The link is to a three page article.)

Oh and Kudos to Bioware. :D

I'd like to be able to swap out the heavy weapon for maybe, another sniper rifle or any of the main weapon types.
