In my main playthrough:
Happy About:
- Queen Anora rules Feralden well and brings it prosperity
-  Morrigan doesn't get her old god child but still somehow ends up pregnant wandering toward the frostback mountains (does she bang Alistair or Loghain or that other grey warden?)
- Loghain redeems himself and dies
- Wynne becomes an adviser at court
- Circle of Magi restored
- Shale goes back to Orzammar to fight the darkspawn
- Alistair becomes a drunkard who babbles about being a grey warden
- Zevran and I travel about in each other company

Not Happy About
- Queen Anora kills a bunch of city elfs and rules them cruelly
- Morrigan still ends up pregnant that sneaky wench (seriously who did she bang?)
- Loghain gets a statue and people forget all the bad things he did
- Dwarf girl who studided at CIrcle of Magi goes back to Orzammar, sets up circle of apostates Chantry considering a "crusade" against them
- King Not Bhalen  (forget his name) is a total mess as i thought he would be but Bhalen is a skeeve
- Zevran and i break up???? it says we travel for "a time" i.e. that wh:kissing:re leaves me lol.

Happy about:

-that everything went smooth with the elves, mages and dwarves.

-that Morrigan didn't get pregnant.

Not happy about:

-Alistair sacrificing himself without my PC having told him there was a different way out.

The game can end w/ Morrigan not pregnant? how did you get that?

I refused Morrigan's offer and she left but at the end of the game it still says she's pregnant..

zev dumps ya? gah i was looking forward to my next playthrough taking my ****-hag up on her offer cuz the ultimate sacrifice ending was almost unbearable when you see what it does to zev (and betraying/sacrificing alistair is simply out of the question for me)

EDIT: i refused morrigan and she wasn't pregnant, she insinuated herself into the queen of orlais' court

there is some bugginess with the endings, been reported a lot, it saying alistair marries anora and keeps you as princess consort (i.e. bit-on-the-side) is a common one i've seen people report even if you married him to become queen yourself

well it depends on what you decide to do after killing the dragon. I decided to leave the grey wardens for a bit and travel the world. Zev came w/ me but it implies that we break up.
But I read somewhere that if you decide to stay and help the grey wardens out Zev will stay w/ you I guess forever and help you train grey warden recruits.

Also, the ending thought I was a girl...so maybe that changes things a bit.

yeah, i think their preferred ending can come up in conversation, i remember leliana, (unromanced, strictly dickly) saying she wanted to travel the world with you, and i think zev asks what your plans for him are after your job is done ("what you mean -after- i'm done ravishing you in celebration") and his prefernece was to stick around, when it's all over, though that convo was during the early flirting stage, maybe that's why, same as lsitening to them to work out thier fave gifts mebbe

Yep if you decide to rebuild Gray Wardens Zev stays with you recruiting and training new wardens but never officially joins.

I guess it's because court might get too dangerous for him in a while and you can't really travel forever while he's probably the safest he could possibly be in a military institution such as Wardens.

Morrigan only ends up pregnant you refuse her offer in case your PC has been messing around with her before at least once. Or if you didn't it might still be a bug (since everyone's saying how endings are bugged haven't expereinced that myself yet though)

zev seems perfectly safe, after ultimate sacrifice he takes the fight to the crows doorstep, miurders anyone who stand against him and takes leadership (but never again takes a lover) poor batsard "all i know is death and pleasure.." and you basically take pleasure form him for the rest of his days, first time i completed a game and got the really good guy ending and felt all guilty instead of all noble

oh so it implies I get Morrigan pregnant from when we were messing around. interesting... didn't think of that I just assumed i had practiced safe sex. No wonder Zev leaves me while we travel..I was the wh o re

yeah it was flemeths plan form the start, i guess she mighta concieved anyway, without performing the ritual when you said no.. interesting

i actually kissed both girls just so they could get jealous and i could end it with each of them once and for all to force them into friend instead of propositioning me all the time, as well as ending alistair and wynnes (hag) increasingly ..wrong.. assumptions. but never sealed the deal,

Well but if  the PC doesn't die they never confront Crows and he also tells the PC they will probably never stop hunting him and that it might not be safe for him to stay at one place for too long... Well in the end it's just my explanation why he stays with the PC if you decide to rebuild the Wardens and not in other scenarios.

But yeah it's really rather touching and surprising in a way that if you choose death for your PC that Zev seems to be the one most deeply hurt by it of all other romances - Leliana has her Maker to turn to (and believes she's gonna see the PC again anyway - wonder if she's right about that), Morrigan doesn't seem to care sh** and surprisingly Alistair isn't quite as devastated as one would expect especially if he has been made king (well ok he does sacrifice himself fo the pc if given a chance - gotta give him that)

Happy About :

- Marrying Alistair as a female noble and being introduced as his betrothed in the end.

- Seeing Fergus Cousland again, finally!

- Zevran staying at my side as a friend. Got the whole "where you go, I go. I will keep you safe." feeling from him, but as a friend. Which felt awesome. (romanced alistair, not zev)

- Shale's end dialogue and being all warm and fuzzy despite having a heart of stone ;)

- Ohgren's accepting a position in the human army and drinking pickle juice as a bet with Teagan.

- Seeing Bann Teagan fighting and looking up after slaying the archdemon. Have to say they gave him some kickass animations, great expression on his face whenever he pops up in the game. Love that guy, very intense character. Wish his part was greater.

- Loved seeing Alistair step up as King with some great speeches and determination.

Not Happy About :

- The generic post coronation dialogues, while they are great they do not apply to my noble origin.

- Lack of detail in Alistair's endgame romance, meaning the guy doesn't even kiss your cheek when you get engaged. Looks at you from afar while being imprisoned as you lay unconsious on the cold floor. Calls you "My Friend" in the end after just introducing you as his betrothed etc etc.

- Being forced to watch Alistair sleep with Morrigan in order to get a somewhat happy end. As if the pc hasn't been through enough yet. Enough is enough, come on.

- Seeing all your companions at the end wearing luxury clothes and shiny new armor while you're stuck in the same old ugly leather armor you've been wearing for a while now. Yeah didn't get the whole "lady cousland, future queen of Ferelden" vibe from looking at her.

- Pretty much being forced to kill Loghain so the game could have it's knife twisting ending choices.

- Horrible bugs in the epilogue text thingies, got some unrelated to the choices I made. It seems Alistair had 2 queens in the end lol

All in all the end made me go Meh, replay value of the game went out of the window for a while. At least until they fix some stuff. Why go through hours and hours of the game again while knowing what you do now.

Happy about

-Chantry contemplates an exalted march against the dwarves

-Chantry reigns the mages in

-Chantry makes a profit out of "Andraste's ashes"

-Harrowmont leads the dwarves into ruin(less competition)

-Dalish are given their lands back

-created a demon spawn wretch of a child

-Oghren settled down

-meeting up with Fergus

Not happy about

-Not being able to speak with my dog

-killing Flemeth

-Shiani becoming village elder

-Elves having more power in Denerim(they have their own lands now)

-Not marrying Anora

-Not executing Alistair

Most things turned out swell for my xenophobic, chantry loving human noble.

yeah the game punishes you no matter which way you choose. Basically you have to do a little evil to get a good ending.

I have to say the story's ending left a lot to be desired and ultimately my PC felt like a throwaway character. I felt like I played the prequel to a greater story. Basically I felt like I was Bilbo Baggins in The Hobbit or Jar Jar Binks in Star Wars I.

things that did annoy me, one word. Riordan.

he could have explained what his compelling reasons were for sparing Loghain  "a grey warden has to give up his life to end the blight!" right then and there, making the decision seem more satisfying to alistair, but no, got have the serrated spine embedded plot twist, okay fine

then jumping off a tower in a scenario where he has zero chance of actually making the killing blow, just so he could look down and laugh at the PC and alistairs faces as he became both history and geography.

still the game is about sacrifice both meaningless and spiteful, course it was always obvious what the end choice would be after morrigan left, but it was still irksome

Happy about :

- Pretty epic ending. It just looks so much cooler when my character gives the finishing blow to the Archdemon.

- Alistair becomes king and -whew- does fine.

- I like the ending bit about Eamon giving the Arl title to Teagan. The man deserves it after all he went though.

- Alistair wearing the king armor. Sweet. I just realized he does look a lot like Cailan.

- Oghren named his son after my character. The guy actually got married and sobered up.

- Shale never losing her hate of pigeons.

- FERGUS! Damn it. There you are!

- The whole funeral speech.

- My character got a nice tomb and a statue heh.

Not happy about :

- Morrigan's awful ritual. I didn't do it. I don't believe I would be able to live knowing the child could be a monster. Plus she didn't even want to tell me what it was for. I also couldn't let Alistair do it. Hasn't he gone through enough? It also drew like parallels to Maric. Bastard child returning anyone?

- Morrigan basically revealing her whole purpose of following us. I wanted to strangle her.

- Poor poor Leliana. If Morrigan's ritual just involved having sex with her, sure. But since it didn't, ah Leliana. Her expression at the end makes me wish I just went ahead with that stupid ritual.

- The ending for Leliana leaving me to wonder if she committed suicide.

- The Loghain thing. Kill him myself and deprive Alistair of his rightful revenge. I already had mine with Arl Howe. Let Alistair kill him and the whole marriage thing goes up in the air. Let him live and Alistair leaves. Whaatt?

- Fergus didn't give some sort of speech about his fallen brother. C'mon, you lost everything now.

- The ending makes me go : Thats it? It seems like no dlc will be set after the ending.

- Morrigan leaving me with Wynne whom I didn't level properly. I didn't know I'd be stuck with her as my secondary dps, primary CC and primary healer!

- Riordan. Damn you. Why did you have to go gungho and jump on the friggin dragon!?!

Happy about
- Sacrificing myself for Ferelden
- King Alisitair's words for his fallen friend
- Howe's lands being handed to the Wardens and Fergus finally showing up!
- Leliana and Zevran's endings (I romanced both), and Oghren's ending.
- The huge statue taht was apparently built in the base in Amaranthine of me was a nice 'thank you' :P

Not happy
- Harrowmount messing up Orzamamarr
- The exalted march being considered against dwarves

Overall I was pretty happy with my ending!

Seriously you didn't see that coming? You couldn't figure out WHY he did what he did?

The Dragon is flying above the battlefield wreaking havoc on your forces and isn't likely to just LAND on the tower top for you.

So he means to die to spare both the younger Wardens.  As a result he goes somewhere high up and ambushes the dragon by jumping on it... he attempts to kill it, but it proves too difficult for him alone, HOWEVER, he mortally wounds it and conviently rends its wing so it can't fly very far or at all and it crashes to the tower top..

That was a very well done hero that didn't quite make it kinda way...

yeah i guess, the whole thing about it sensing you and wanting to kill you making it seek you out when you got up high away from the bulk of it's forces was too much to count on, it did seem like a heroic death, but an ultimately pointless one

I was happy with my outcome, I couldn't let my love (Leilana) live on without me, nor could I hurt her by sacrificing myself. Alistair sacrificed himself, he wanted to, so I respected him (albeit with an adjoining hidden motive) and farewelled him as the friend I'd never forget. Anora took to the throne to her people's delight, and began to re-build what was lost. Leilana is lovingly prepared to follow me at my side which I am thrilled with, Sten returned to his homeland, Shale went off to the Deep Roads to kill hordes of darkspawn, Oghren decided to roam the world (and for the short-term, beat the Bann's bet that he couldn't drink a number of ale tankards, the number of which escapes me). Wynne returned to the Circle of Magi to help them re-build their kin, and their tower. Morrigan was spotted insinuatingly entering the courts of Orlais, and that's all I can remember (memory is not my strong suit, unfortunately...)

So yeah, I'm happy with how it all turned out, ultimately.

In fact, my reason for a second playthrough is primarily just so I can see her again.  I need a girlfriend, lol...

Hmm I forgot about Harrowmont. This dwarf playthrough, I hope Bhelen has a good reason for making me kill Trian because I want to crown him.

I forgot to add Sten went back to his homeland after paying his respects, Wynne didn't become First Enchanter.

I was happy with :
my funeral , quite sad and touching,
the whole part about leliana composing a great song about me disappearing suddenly and said to be reunited with her lover.
bella got the inn in redcliffe and named it the grey warden's rest
Oghren making it big in Denerim as a general marrying and having a good life
Zervan becoming the crows leader , and the line at the end of that story that says that he didn't know if that was his reward or his punishment

I didn't like how the dwarves got screwd up, I really thought I did good there

I liked my ending, sort of.  I was a rogue human noble.

Liked:
- Anora rules fairly and justly, new laws are made to support free holders, trade agreements, rebuilt Denerim and helped made the kingdom rich and prosperous, even made a university.

- PC married Anora as King-Consort and ruled together with her and ushered in a golden age that hadn't been seen since King Calenhad first united the warring barbarian tribes.

- News about the Ashes of Andraste weren't wide spread until Brother Genitivi released research notes about it and the cult around it and drew huge attention from the scholars of Thedas.

- Few years later the Chantry confirmed that it was indeed the true ashes and it drew great attention from the major pious individuals across Thedas.

- Tower of the Magi was cleansed of last spirits, no more abominations were made, and Irving said that all that could be saved, were saved, and the circle of magi lived on.

- Shianni became new elder for the city elves, and was very outspoken.

- Redcliffe was rebuilt before Arl Eamon had a chance to do anything

- Connor became an adept mage very quickly and accepted a position in the Tevinter Imperium to research the fade.

- Bella owns the tavern in Redcliffe and called it "The Grey Warden's Rest"

- Dalish elves became accepted by people of Ferelden because of their part in the battle at Denerim

- Lanaya became new keeper and a strong voice of the Dalish folk both among her people and at the court in Denerim.

- Dalish clans moved to the area south near Ostagar that was provided for them.  Tensions did rise between humans and them but Lanaya always smoothed them out.

- King Behlen was amazing ruler, dwarves prospered, many deep road thaigs were reclaimed.

- Dagna completed her studies at the rebuilt circle of magi and her research, how lyrium vapor affect the flow of magic, drew much attention.

- Morrigan disappeared over the frostback mountain, pregnant.

Did Not Like:
- With slavers gone, city elves lives improved but Anora came down hard on the city elves when they rioted in the later years due to a food shortage.  Tensions between humans and city elves remained high as a result.

- Behlen dissolved the assembly.

- Brother Burkel converted dwarves to chantry, conservative members didn't like that, restrictions were placed.

- Burkel killed during an arrest while resisting restrictions, the Divine contemplated exacting an Exalted March upon the dwarves of Orzammar.

- Anvil of the void fragments were found, rebuilt, and golem was created using a spirit from the fade.  Golem went berserk, had to be destroyed, anvil knowledge was hidden and/or destroyed but smith caste still wanted to get it back.

- The lack of ANY knowledge of what the heck happened to my companions -_-.  Just said they scattered to the 4 winds.  I wanted to know if Shale and Wynne found a way to turn her back into a female dwarf since they said they were headed to the Tevinter Imperium to research that :(.

Happy about....well i wasnt happy with my ending, all them hours upon hours, all them dialogue scenes with leiliana and then romancing her and she was the only character that didnt get a goodbye scene and i never even saw her reaction to me turning down Morrigan or my choice to sacrifice myself or anything

think Alistair gives a speech thar feels pretty unrelated to you but apart from that there is no reaction from him either......really disapointed in the ending :-(

things imporoived for city elves with my ultimate sacrifced elven mage who got alistair and anora married, shianni was given a place at the court, remained outspoken and served her people well,

looks like burkel meets that fate regardless of who you put on the throne, so i guess talking him out of his attempt seems best for him.

in my ending, though i knew nothing of any plans between shale and wynne (who stayed as an advisor to the throne until she returned to the circle and refused the first enchanters position before then going on to travel before her time was up)

still shale headed north and soon there were many rumours of a female dwarf who slaughtered birds with abandon coming from the region she headed to.. so it seems she does manage it somehow, without wynnes help
