I forgot what all happened in my ending, but I wasn't disappointed. I am however having a hard time actually finishing another play through. I tend to make most of the same decisions, so the ending will be almost the same. Seems like it's more fun for me to just run around with a bad ass team and hang around in camp

Bah. Ferelden's king was dead, it's general proven a traitor and executed, his daughter locked in a tower. My party was breaking up--Morrigan ran off, Alistair to be forced to be a reluctant king, Sten planning to head back to the qunari to fight against us in a future war.

And I'm unhappy Alistair didn't argue with me more about who'd have the "honor" of the last blow, I'd really have preferred not to die. I wanted him to talk me out of it.

But I sacrificed myself at the end so that at least *one* thing I spilled blood for, putting Alistair on the throne, wouldn't come completely undone.

And . . . I'm actually happy the way the story wrapped up. It all made good dramatic sense to me. I am going to try again and shoot for a better ending for the world; this playthrough was pure RPG and my city elf wasn't the type to worry about the fate of the Ferelden nation. It was all about personal friendship and loyalty.

My ending:

Started as a female human noble.

Sided with the Mages and Wynne. I love Wynne, btw. Sided with Harrowmont in Orzammar. Removed the curse from the werewolves and saved the Dalish. In Redcliffe, used Blood Magic to spare the boy, killed the mother.

Spared Loghain. Chose Anora for queen. Alistair became and alcoholic. Told Morrigan to get bent when she confronted me at the end. Romanced Leliana. Leliana, Zevran, and myself decided to travel Ferelden together afterwards. What fun!

Wynn stayed with Anora to be her advisor. Have I mentioned that I love Wynne. No? OK.

It was happy :D

- Horrible bugs in the epilogue text thingies, got some unrelated to the choices I made. It seems Alistair had 2 queens in the end lol

Oh, so HE gets to be polyamorous, but my PC didn't! That's completely unfair! Image IPB

I knocked boots with Morrigan, Leiliana, and Zeveran and then married the queen. I ho'd as much as I could as a guy..lol

I was happy with the game itself, but it is certainly easier to pick out the things I didn't like.

Unhappy with:

-Anora kinda going crazy as queen...nothing resolved long term with city elves

-Statue of Logain (what the hell?)

-Harrowmont being a douche

-HOW NO ONE HAD ANY WORDS OF COMFORT FOR ME AT THE END!!!! I mean seriously...everyone was celebrating and asking me how I felt...but I never once had the option to say I feel like a**.

-Basically I found every single "where are they now" write up disapointing.

Like I said though, I really enjoyed the game and I am on my second play through and you really notice the little subtle hints of things to come.

-Like Alistair saying you are his first, and hopefully his last (though if you let him sleep with morrigan....then I guess you could still be his last...just happens to have someone in between)

-Wynne asks you what you would do if you had to choose between your love and everyone (an obvious referral to Morrigan's proposal)

- Alistair when he asks you about what you think of the other members, genuwinely believes Morrigan evil and not to be trusted

-Shale also mentions in a background conversation to Morrigan that she smells of something dark and unnatural.

Huh, I read the ending text about you and zev traveling as that the traveling ended, not the relasionship. but then again it was very vauge and I might have read it as sutch cause of stubborn optimism :x. and i will continue to belive so until a dev smacks me upon the head and tells me otherwise.

I had very little to be displeased with regarding my ending. ali becomes king, the dalish gets their own land to settle down, mages circle rebuilt, Bhelen as king. harrowmont might have been a more "good guy" but for me he just was the old man in the old way. usually doesnt end up well.

I was only unhappy with myself forgetting Sten in that damn cage..oops.

Well Calistrata, sorry to burst your bubble but it says the same thing about Zev even if you choose to stay in Denerim together, so sadly it's not the traveling that ends. I've elaborated more on that mather in another thread.

And thankfully some nice folks there showed how there is a way for the character and either Zev or Leliana to not part ways at all if one of them is romanced.

Also, on the matter of the endings I would really like to know how you get all the indivdual information on what holds next for your companions, like Zev becoming leader of the Crows, Oghren settling down and naming a child after you or Shale becoming a dwarf again with or without Whynne's help. All I got in my ending was that everyone went their own ways. I did notice that the ones that got to know all that had their characters die, I think, while I did have Alistair do the nasty with the witch. On the other hand I did rush through my first playthrough without some companion quests and that sort of stuff, so maybe it was becouse of that, I do hope that I can still get those outcomes at the end while no one has to die.

Ahh I figured someone would burst it eventually. no harm done really.

I just have to do things slightly differently to snag that assasin. slippery fellow as he is.

didn't mind the ending... but very disappointed with the lack of emotion in the ending... my pc is a female elf who just watched her lover kill himself for her and at the end everybody (including her!) is like 'alistair, who?'... wtf?!? i haven't had a chance to play the game as a male pc, but i gather from the posts, the male scenario isn't much better. i shoulda been reaching for a kleenex, not scratching my head.

with that said... the rest of the game is so f*ing awesome... if they could have pulled off a sincere emotional ending (like in "riven", wow, that's the only game I can think of that pulled it off, but there must have been others), i think this game for me would easily have been unquestionably the best game of all time.

I died a hero's death killing the Archdemon. Allistair became king, Anora was unheard of (I hope she had a very frustrating and horribly lonely and powerless life, but I'm afraid Alistair is probably too nice with her), Zev and Sten came back to visit their respective previous employers, Leli and Morrigan wandered, Oghren was general and Wynne went travelling.

I was quite happy at how heroic and epic the ending felt. You really had the "I'm a big hero" ending, with the ultimate sacrifice and all. Like the legends. I would have felt all warm and fuzzy inside if I hadn't been dead.

What I disliked ? I lacked the option of punishing the three pain in the @** of the game (Loghain, Morrigan and Anora). One just went out mercifully and the two others barely had their schemes defeated.

I would have liked to punch the smug out of one, and publicly denounce and humiliate the two others to teach them about powermongering.
