Not a video game firefight, where you have to account for what "type" of enemy you'll be facing, but an honest to god firefight. we'll pretend biotics are real for the sake of this discussion.

Mine would be Thane and Zaeed.

Probably Tali and Grunt. Maybe Liara. I tend to prefer to sneak up behind enemies and stab them in the back, so anyone who can create a distraction is valuable. Tali has her little drone thing, Liara can throw down Singularity/Stasis all over the place, and Grunt is... Well, Grunt IS the distraction.

Thane and Wrex. Thane can stay in the back and snipe, and come in for a neck-snap and hand-to-hand fight if needed. Wrex is...well, Wrex. Nothing's going to bring him down.

@OP I would be worried about taking Zaeed.. most of his stories involve him being the only one living :/.

Someone like garrus or ashley, because they know their guns and are both well trained and disciplined. Also someone like wrex, plenty of experience plus he is large target that will draw enemy fire and don't forget he is also a biotic.

yeah, but most of his stories are about previous suicide missions. I'd prefer to avoid those when possible.

in a REAL firefight? where I as a REAL person have no combat experience? Id go with Thane and Mordin. black-Ops field medic and a sniper sounds like a good combo.

I see some people saying Zaeed I do like him as a character but irl I just wouldn't trust that guy he always looks out for number 1. Not saying I blame him, just not someone I would want to have my back with.,

Wrex and Grunt, simply because they can't be defeated in a firefight.

Grunt and Jacob. They would out survive anyone else from the ME2 roster IMO.

Thane and Grunt! As we all saw in the ME2 cinematic trailer, CUT SCENE POWER TO THE MAX! 

In all seriousness though, I'd pick those two because of the following. Thane's a master assasin who could kill numerous people in the blink of an eye. While Grunt is a  walking tank who can shrug off bullet fire and atomize you with a big ass shotgun.

Zaeed. He's seen it all and I know he'd be cool under fire.

Wrex. For the same reason. Plus he's terrifying, so hopefully he'd draw a lot of enemy attention from me.

Garrus, because he's my bro, and Grunt because he's a giant bruiser/meat shield.

 Jack because of her powerful biotics and Garrus for his sniping kills and tactics.

EDIT: On second thought though Jack would be a bit risk cause she could harm me or Garrus and she can be a bit reckless sometimes.
