Well, if this were a real firefight the first problem is I would be in the squad.

Now, I grew up in a hunting family so guns aren't the issue. It's the bullets flying at me that are and if the enemy are scions and husks ... Holy ****! I would be turned into a crying little freak the moment I saw a husk with flailing arms coming at me!

This of course would make me completely useless to my team. The fear and panic would probably also make me a danger with my firearm resulting in a teammate yanking it away from me... probably followed by a ****slap!
I know, this is making me sound sexy, but wait it gets better ..... 

The two would have to be really kick ass since they will be doing all the fighting and carrying me ... Remember, sexy me would be trying to hide behind my team mates while blubbering like an idiot and crying "mommy!".

Given how sexy and in control I would be on the field, I wouldn't take Liara, Ash or Miranda ... I wouldn't want them to see me that way ... or Jack, she would NEVER let me live that down. And she would forever call me her "crying p0ssy".

1) Wrex ... he is a tank and he doesn't really talk much so he probably wouldn't tell on me. He is also big enough that if I wrapped myself around his backside for protection, he could carry me around like a tree monkey with no problem.
 
2) Samara ... She is all about protecting the innocent (moi) and with me crying she would really see me as needing protection. Especially after a scion banged to the ground making me wet on myself ... What a cute baby I would seem to her (crying and wetting). I wonder if she would breast feed me out of confusion.
Back on the Normandy she also wouldn't tell on me ... too busy meditating.

So I would take two killing machines that would also keep their mouths shut.

ummmmmm Legion, in a "real" firefight I think he would be invulnerable to bullets, also he should be 100% accurate, and I would bring Tali with me to fix him if he took to much punishment, but I agree with the above post, I would be crying and not want to hurt anybody else.

Mordin. Knows how to improvise with the resources at his disposal and still get the job done. Black-OP training so can stand on his own in a fire-fight.

Wrex. His sheer brute force will balance out the semi-vulnerability of Mordin while also giving a tad of biotic help in case it's needed.

I'd only be useful in the fight until my shields were low. Then it's up to Wrex.

Jack and Garrus. No doubt.

Jack is the one of the most powerful biotics alive, so she's a necessity. Garrus is a great shot, and the one reason I choose him over Legion is due to his tactical prowess. You gotta have some tactics.

First thought: two Krogans, cause they regenerate.
second thought: Grunt is not as intimidating as Zaeed or Garrus, so you can replace him.

Also, I considered Jacob, but that would be a little bit racist.

That's not as easy of a question as I would have thought.

Assuming that I was an "innocent" in a real-life [Earth of today] firefight I'd go with Samara for sure. She'd be honor bound to help me. Plus things like Pull, Throw, Reave would pwn during battle. Plus I would trust her implicitly.

Mordin might be another person I'd trust. If fire, cold, or electricity don't help then I'm in the wrong fight

For a real firefight in the ME universe I'd go with:
-- Wrex ... He wouldn't backstab an ally and is quite powerful
-- Samara ... The same

Garrus and Wrex/Grunt. The turian for precision, and the Krogan (depending on which game) for the destructive potential. With me hiding in a dark corner praying, because about the only thing I know about guns is which way to point it and pulling the trigger. (And then I'd realize I forgot the safety. XD)
