I'm new and at one point my bisexual thread was lock due to the no discussion rule. Can anyone tell me when can we discuss it here?

I'm not sure you would have to ask a mod, but I thought the ban on talking about Love Interests ended after E3.

Within a few days, at the very latest.

Last I heard there would be a thread set up for discussion coinciding with the release of some more information.

You can appreciate that it tends to get out of hand very quickly. There's not much point in 10 pages of speculation without any new information.

Don't quote me on this, but I think Bio said we'll get some info on romances later this week and that's when the ban on LI discussions will end.

It'll just end up with people shouting hate at anyone disagreeing with the introduction of it in the last part of the series.

So in short, what's the point of the threads when it's just flamebait material?

What's there to discuss? Some prefer sticks. Others prefer holes. Unless you're like churchy Flanders, it's not even an issue.

I for one would be interested in knowing whether pre-existing romances can be ditched in favour of newly available characters, at least.

Sorry Garrus :(

This. Someone, I believe it was Priestly, said they would open a thread themselves once we were allowed to discuss it again. So watch for that ervrybody

Eh I really don't care either way. I am not doing any guy on guy romances myself but I don't care that they are there as long as my Shepard doesn't start automaticaly flirting with a guy when I initiate dialog.

The same sex romances will be available on the Tube within 24 hours anyway. Just watch those if you're curious.

I support the free discussion of the topic. If people don't get too personal and/or hatefull. Though in that case they're the people that should be modded out and not the ones "behaving" themselves.

There are alot of moral and social issuse where people are very far from each other in their oppinions. I don't have to agree and even find their oppinion abhorrent but their subjective oppinion is just as valid as my own.

It is through the exchange of our oppinions and viewpoints (debate) that we change eachother, our selves and come to a better understanding of others and also ourselves.

Just IMHO though I can understand that bioware don't necesarily wan't their private forum open to such a heated debate.

If people don't get too personal and/or hatefull.

You ask too much of the internet.

You could always join the "Fight for the Love" group, and take part in their discussions.

Wait, so they're announcing the romances this week sometime?

They're sharing information about romance this week - that is what people have been saying. Who knows if it's anything actually new or noteworthy, though.

I wouldn't go so far as to call it that.

It's just new information of some form or another. Priestly said they'd wait until the team got back from travelling to E3 before the new topic was created.

As long as they keep S/S romance confined to new characters Iam completely ok with S/S. You know what? I dont care if Kaiden ends up Bi. I never liked him anyway. Anyone else is off limits for modification though.

If they made Kaidan bi, they'd have to make Ashley bi as well. Tali is the most logical to become an option based on what was said/seen in ME2, imo. But if they make Tali bi, they'd probably have to make Garrus bi too, or else you'll hear ****ing and crying again. Sigh...
Why can't we all get along!? :D *Awaiting anxiously the talk about ME3 romances now.*

I don't think the VS are good choices for S/S if they have to make any previously existing love interests bisexual. Jacob & Thane both don't seem to be good choices as they don't seem to be squad mates. That just leaves Garrus for changing to M/M.

See, this here? This is why we can't discuss same sex romance options.
