We've seen Legion and Mordin in the gameplay videos, and there have been threads speculating about Samara and Thane's role in ME3. So what about everyone's favorite tankborn Krogan? We've seen Wrex (provided you all let him live in ME1) mentioned in the gameplay video of saving the female Krogan, and I suspect he'll pop up in that mission as well. But I'm curious to see what role Grunt will play in the Krogan's future. Will he take a more active hand in securing the Krogan's place in the galactic stage? Or will he just stand aside and let Shepard do all the talking, taking the role of the loyal soldier to his battlemaster?

For me, either role works best, as I'd really like to see Grunt again. He surprisingly became one of my favorite characters from ME2. I initially thought he'd be just some dumb brute you could unleash on your enemies, but due to some smart writing on his character, he became much more than that. Really would like to see what Grunt's role in ME3 will be.

He's one of my favs too. He should be in ME3 as a squadmate. Shepard needs a krogan.

This, I'd prefer Wrex but I would still be happy with Grunt.

I'm sure he is going to take a leadership role amongst the Krogan and Clan Urdnot. I'm also certain he will be fertilizing the fertile Krogan princesses. I also think he will be an absolute monster on the battlefield, so we might see some nice fireworks.

I would be surprised if ME3 doesn't have a Krogan companion to be honest. Surprised, and disappointed. So maybe Grunt will follow his battlemaster into ME3? /hope

I'd hazard a guess that Grunts role would vary depending on if Wrex was alive or dead. If he's dead, I imagine that Eve, the Krogan "prnicess", wouldnt touch Wreav with a 10 foot pole, and would allow someone like Grunt to court her.
If alive, Grunt would probably be the Krogan ambassador to the rest of the galaxy.

lol don't see Grunt as an ambassador at least not in this stage of his life.  Wrex on the other hand actualy has some diplomatic skills, he knows how to deal with non-Krogan and he has the respect of his own people.

Grunt has worked with Turians and Salarians, without trying to kill them. That pretty much makes his diplomatic skills second only to Wrex's in comparison to teh rest of the Krogan. :)

For the record, Grunt isn't a leardship type like Wrex, he's a soldier, a powerhouse built to fight, hence his name. Besides, the fact that Shepherd is his battlemaster says it all, he's loyalty bound to him.

Nope, he's not just a soldier his entire heritage is derived from best of Krogan warlords. He can even be a better leader than Wrex.

Maybe in time but it takes more than good genes to lead,  Grunt lacks real world experience of his own.

Grunt was designed to be perfect. Miranda was designed to be perfect. However, they both lack that essential leadership quality that Shepard and Wrex possess.
