No serious mage bug. I was just an idiot who didn't realize I had Healing Aura active, thus preventing me from using most spells

I've... never had that happen, I assume you have no active spells (on) like with Spirit Healer- which doesn't allow you to use offensive magic while in use. That would be all that I could think of- oh! and maybe try a Maker's Sigh potion if you have the Black Emporium.
Other than that I have no clue- like I said I've never had this issue while playing my Mages.

Damn I'm dumb. Didn't even check to make sure Healing Aura was off. Turns out it was active, so I wasn't able to cast offensive magic. I don't normally have it active, but I must have activated it at some point without thinking, and then thought it was a bug, lol. Sigh, thats what I get for not checking things thoroughly enough.

Lol. Happens from time to time, wouldn't fret about it Ha-Ha, think I did the same thing at one point (so your not alone).
Gah- yea darn Healing Aura ruined my love for the Spirit Healer ability. Well glad that was the problem, would have been hesitant to try another play-through using a Mage who couldn't cast offensive magic.
