No, a dev said (or strongly implied) in one of the videos that Shepard's previous decisions would also come up.

I didn't see the interview, but that implies that previous events will be discussed in the court case, and maybe even Ashley/Kaiden turning up. But regardless of what your Shep's done, the reapers will invade before any judgement is rendered, and the escape will be similar.

Similar to Miranda and TIM's discussion at the beginning of ME2, but maybe with slightly more than a throwaway line here or there.

My 1st playthrough will be a Earthborn Ruthless Renegade (just started his ME 2 run, beaten the game on xbox, but I am now doing PC version, sold my xbox copy and just getting PC version of ME3). Batarians? I killed the bastards on Torfan, I killed the bastards on Asteroid X57 (Yeah, innocents got blown up, but I didn't kill them, the batarians did), I threatened to kill the bastards in Afterlife out of sheer spite, and I was happy to nova a solar system full of Batarians.

If the writting for Shepard stays as is I assume you won't be able to defend yourself. Look how he handled himself with the VS or when Tela Vasir put him in his place (especially as a sole survivor).  Shepard isn't allowed to defend himself or formulate a rational thought.

Sadly this. I get the feeling Shepard will be shoehorned into being regretful and compliant during the trial and then into the role of a subordinate following the Reaper attack. Just look at Arrival. Shepard doesn't even bring up his Spectre status (if reinstated) to Hackett when he says the Alliance will be bringing him in at all.

The judge will ask me what i have to say for my self,i turn on my omni tool and instead of using the omni blade i use the omni guitar and play this song > then i get set free or the reapers invade as soon as i start to watch the show XD
