Zaeed: "You filthy ****es won't lay a hand on Shepard. He's too good for you sons of ****es"
Grunt: "Why don't we just shoot them, grab Shepard, and get out of here? Problem solved."
Legion: "There's a high probability that all of us can kill you. I recommend that we kidnap Shepard and carry him into the ship as cargo"
Samara: "My Code says that I will have to kill you for an unjust action against Shepard"
Thane: "Shepard is my one and only friend. Killing him will make force my body to go into battle-sleep. You wouldn't want that to happen"
Miranda: "Shepard saved numerous human colonies from the Collects and he prolonged the attack of the Reapers! Shepards a God damned hero! You should owe him the respect he deserves!"
Jacob: "Convicting Shepard is a heavy risk.. and there's NO priiiiize in that.. Last chance before I have to return the favor.."

Judge: "Ahh.. Commander Shepard.. you have a bunch of enigmatic friends.. very truthful and bold in their determination.. but about your destruction of a star system. *looks at documents of incident* Ahh, yes, you shot an asteroid into a mass relay, allegedly presumed to be used by the Reapers to travel all over the galaxy quickly.. We have just recently dismissed that claim.. so you are free from charges.. And it's not because your friends have bullrushed us in our own court *sweats*

Shepard: Better, an eye witness testimony.

Judge: Very well, you may proceed.

Shepard: I call Zaeed Massani to the stand.

[Zaeed takes the stand.]

Judge: Mr. Massani do you have anything to say for the accused?

Zaeed: I do your honor. . . So there I was on Omega, knee deep in some of the sh****** cr** you could imagine. I was on a job you see, apparently some Batarian mook barrowed more than he could pay off from some less then reputable people and had a big fat bounty placed on his head. I had heard about the job from an old friend of mine, what was his name? Smithy? Smathers? I forget, but we did have a nickname for him, called him 'Burny'. Old 'Burny' used to work at a refinery on Zorya, he got his nickname when some mercenary types came and blew the entire thing to hell, the poor bastard got caught in the blast, terrible thing I tell you. But where was I? Ah, so I was on Omega looking for this Batarian bastard. I had got a tip he was hiding out with some Bloodpack Mercs on the lower levels, but when I got there the bastards were ready for me. I managed to cut my way through them with Jessie but this one Vorcha got the jump on me, knocked Jessie right out of my hands. So I'm laying there on the ground while this Vorcha's clawing at my face, I figured my only hope was to f*** its ***** right off. Thing is the bastard grew it right back, so I decided I'd have to take out my knife and ***** its ****** right there and then. But he just kept coming at me. Longest fight of my life, I tell you. In the end I got in there under its ***** and tore the ****** right off. That was the bravest Vorcha I've ever met.

Judge: Thank you for that. . . testimony, Mr. Massani.

Zaeed: Welcome.

Judge: Now has the jury reached a verdict?

Jury: Yes your honor. We find the defendant-

[Court house shakes as the Reapers invade.]

[Shepard turns to Zaeed.]

Shepard: Good work.

I want my shepard to walk into the court room charging an M-920 Cain.
Judge: Commander Shepard, put down that weapon or I'll hold you in contempt of court!
Shepard: And I hold you all in contempt... OF JUSTICE!
Just then a reaper tears the roof off of the building and Shepard fires the M-920 Cain at it. Oh and you shall get a cookie if you get the reference, actually, cake for knowing that one.

I would like to be honest about it but not just go along with BW because they say I should. I want to be able to tell them that I tried to warn the colony, I want to be able to explain the distress I was under when waking up in a lab and being sedated for 2 days for unknown reasons, the beacon visions outlining the reaper plan to use the mass relay to quick jump to Earth sense that leads into my motive but they also should allow me to maintain that if kensen hadn't blown up the only console to stop the asteroid I would've stopped the asteroid, recontacted the colony, and tried to wait until a reaper came through at least so those who took me at my word could escape.



EDIT: Also BW during trail don't let us rewrite what we did in anything we're asked about from ME- ME2 like we got to do with the Anderson vs Udina choice. I lied to Miranda and told her I choose Udina in ME when I really chose Anderson she should've stopped me right there and said no that's not true and give me resources to refresh my sheps mind on the issue. So if for instance they ask about me killing Fist and I say I didn't do it they can prove me wrong by saying here's his body in the morgue and you where seen walking into his private room with two others.

Well, it wasn't so much a rewrite, as a point of save.  The final autosave is right before the final fight with Saren, so all decisions at that point are locked in.  Then the last litttle cut scene you do is never saved.  That's part of the reason she asks you in the first place, cause that decision doesn't exist.  Due to the open ended nature of ME2, that shouldn't be a problem in ME3

You know it would be interesting to actually be able do deffend yourself. Maybe if you succeed you would be removed from prison a little early and be able to prepare a little bit. But that probably wouldn't happen.

Depends on what they call my Shep out on. If they accuse him of genocide, He will respond with "The connection I tried to use to warn the batarians in that system was already nigh-impossible to hear through, and there were literally minutes to spare by the time I could get to a working connection to call the Normandy."
