Yeah, I seriously doubt my renegade is going to roll over and take it, the way she's been used as a scapegoat when she's actually delayed the imminent destruction of *all* life so they can prepare. But what do they do instead - hold a trial for her. And she's not giving them the Normandy gladly. Those grabby b*stards will probably rip EDI out and make the inside all dark and cramped again. And what about the fish? The space hamster?! Are they to be orphaned.
So... she pleads not guilty?

Remorseful. Very remorseful. My Shep has a lot of guilt over what happened. She will reveal every last scrap of evidence of the Reapers. She will bring every witness she can think of - Shiala, the green asari from Feros, would be a good one.

By the time Shepard is on trial I assume all the necesary paperwork is done in order to do it. So if you had Spectre status then the council has most likely already stripped you of it.

Unless you mean that Shepard should stand in trial on the Citadel. Then I will say that either humanity is the council and therefor uses Earth to stage the trial to show the rest of the galaxy who's boss. In case of the old council then I assume they will claim that the arrival incident is a human matter.

Present all that is known about the Collectors with all the footage, videos and samples about them. Suggest that both events, the Collectors attacking the colonies and the Batarian incident are linked and that both were attempt to destabilize Citadel Space. Mention also that Saren and the Heretics were working for the Collectors. There's no need to prove that the Collectors were real. No need to mention the Reapers by name. Replace the word Reaper for Collector for every sentence about them.
