For those of us who like the female Spandex outfits...our women get to wear them, right?

Choice would be the ideal compromise.

Sure. Long as they get no armor, only shields.

I have nothing against spandex, although I hope there would be an option for player to choose between spandex and practical combat armor.

Spandex allows for increased mobility.

Why does FemShep's armour have to be different from ManShep's?

Yeah, when a reaper crashes on top of Miranda's head I doubt it would have made a difference if she wore a real armor or not ^_^

It's a positive distraction.

FWIW, I wasn't the one who named you as a troll. But that's not answering my question is it.

Not talking about Femshep, she is butch, which I am content with, talking about Miranda and Ashley; spandex suits them, just like armour suits Femshep.

I hope they don´t go in level of Marvel comics with the distraction ;).

I would be perfectly fine with female characters wearing cat suits or whatever when they are not on missions.   If you look at the way clothing is handled for Shepard in ME 2 that shows how it should be done.  During missions it is only appropriate that characters wear body armour, but when hanging around the Normandy or non-combat missions there is no reason why they can't wear casual attire.  I have to say though it was never a big issue for me what the female characters wore anyway.

I would have liked something more catsuit-y for Femshep. Not just because I'm crushing on my Femshep, but also because she looked a bit out of place on missions with squaddies like Thane and Jacob.

Sure, there should also be an option to choose between armour, catsuit and bikini, right? There's little difference between wearing spandex or bikini in terms of protection. Mass Effect has always cared about practical realism, and having squadmates fighting naked exposed to vacuum just for eye candy is stupid in my opinion. I think everybody, even biotics, should wear armour when on hazardous environments and during fights in general.

Yet another reason for spandex suits!

I just think wearing Spandex instead of armor in a combat situation is silly. Casual attire on the Normandy? go for it. Fighting a swarm of husks? I'd prefer some combat armor.

For me... thats enough to get over the reality thing. I just think welp, its the future. I'm not a big science guy or anything so I don't really think about it. I really liked ManSheps armor in the earth demo... I'm guessing he was just wearing that because he was at trial but I would love to have the option to wear that.

Also I prefer my characters in bad ass suits... be they sexy or just cool. I'm really hoping they give us an option to choose between armor and normal stuff. (everyone is happy... well except for the crowd who wants to control other peoples game experience for the sake of their immersion)
