I'm totally stoked for Bioshock: Infinite, glad to see it picked up some.
Gotta say though, had been kinda rooting for Skyrim to scoop the award, but glad ME3 got it.

Although I'll also be getting Skyrim, it scratches a different (and much less prominent) itch. And really, I haven't watched any of the Bioshock 3 videos, but I played the second game, and I thought it was pretty terrible. Really doubt the third will be any better

Yeah, that made no sense at all. BioShock may look amazing, but its far removed from the realm of original "Shooters".

Good for Bioware. Anyway, I was surprised by Bioshock Infinite. He pretty took every award it could (even though I don't understand how it could win the shooter category. I think BF3 should have won that).

I just don't get the whole Bioshock thing. System Shock 2 was great for it's time, but Bioshock? Really? Oh well. Fortunately I don't base my purchasing decisions on awards.

That's interesting, I witnessed awesome weapon customization, deep skill trees, and a good amount of different powers to enhance.

Must have been watching a different game.

Actually, they showed something about weapon customization and skill tree, with different evolution branch.
Maybe what they showes wasn't as much to earn the award, but that doesn't mean that they didn't show nothing. It's IGN that decided to give the the award,

I am fairly shure that Bioshock infinite wont hold what it promisis to be... first two games were exactly the same. Huge PR on the E3, everyone talked about it, but in the end they were good, but not outstanding games.

While ME 3 is my main event, I am very excited about Skyrim and it will help ease the pain of waiting for ME 3 as I know Skyrim will keep me very busy for months.
